Wonderful Wednesday
Weekly Stamp Class

Hi Everyone,

Welcome to my Weekly Wednesday post where I share projects that I created for my weekly stamp class. One of my favorite things to use when crafting is Stampin' Up! Designer Series Papers. They are so wonderful. The quality, artwork, and color combinations can't be beat. The papers in the Occasions catalog are no exception to this. There are so many wonderful choices of designer series paper. Today I wanted to share some projects I recently created focusing on the designer series papers.

For these projects, I focused on the wonderful Designer Series Papers (DSP) found in the Occasions Catalog. The two must have DSP packs are the Petal Passion and Sweet Soiree papers

Petal Passion Designer Series Paper
The stunning black and white can be transformed by sponging
or coloring the paper.
Sweet Soirée Specialty Designer Series Paper
The metallic accents throughout this paper add such
elegance to your projects.

For this project, I used Thick White Cardstock with Marina Mist. The cute flower is from the stamp set called Birthday Blooms. I also used the Layering Ovals. You have to own these framelits! I used the Calypso Coral and Old Olive Stampin' Blends to color the flower.

Old Olive is the base color of this project. The Petal Passion DSP adds so much texture. The slate shiny ribbon is from the trio of ribbon in the Sale-A-Bration Catalog. The leaves are from the Remarkable You Stamp set. I used the Old Olive Combo Stampin' Blends to color the leaves.

This project was so fun to create! I loved using the sponge roller to sponge the Petal Passion DSP. The large flower from Birthday Blooms Stamp set was colored with the Pink Pirouette, Rich Razzleberry, and the Old Olive Stampin' Blends. I used the Amazing You Sale-A-Bration Stamp set and the Celebrate You Thinlits also from the Sale-A-Bration Catalog

I certainly cannot get enough of the DSP in the Occasions Catalog as well as the Annual Catalog. DSP can add so much texture and richness to any project.

Memories & More
Mondays

Hi Everyone,

Thanks so much for joining me today on this Monday where I focus on my Memories & More with Stampin' Up! I can't tell you how much I love the Memories & More products. Stampin' Up! has done a great job combining memory keeping and card making.

My all time favorite right now with the Memories & More product line is the Petal Passion Memories & More Card kit.

These are fantastic! There are so many possibilities for card making and memory keeping. Here are a few cards I created using the Petal Passion Memories & More pack. I share a few of my creations last week and I'd like to share a few more.

All of these projects used cards from the Petal Passion Memories & More card pack. I then added to the cards with the Sweet Soiree Embellishment kit and the specialty designer series papers. Once I started using the cards and manipulating them, I created so many samples. It was a blast.

Thanks for stopping in today. Come back next week to see what other Memories I been working on.

If you are in need of any products you can place an order online. I appreciate you choosing me as your demonstrator. Wonderful Wednesday
Weekly Class

Hi Everyone,

Welcome to my Wonderful Wednesday post where I share all about my weekly classes. Class this week Focuses on the wonderful Heartfelt Blooms stamp set that is a Sale-A-Bration stamp set. This means that you can earn this set free when you place a minimum $50.00 order during the months of January through March. I think this has to be the best stamp set of all time. It makes the most stunning stamped image without any effort. My cards were inspired by Stamping Pretty, Mary Fish.

This card uses Thick White Cardstock, Tangerine Tango Cardstock and ink. I also used the Foil Frenzy Specialty DSP. I really like when cards have a monochromatic color story. It seems very elegant to me.

This project also uses the Thick White Cardstock, Bermuda Bay Cardstock and ink. I also used black cardstock and white embossing for the words. The ribbon is the Shimmer Ribbon Pack in the Sale-A-Bration catalog. This is another item you can earn free with a minimum $50 order.

So this project is so bold and bright with the Berry Burst and Lemon Lime Twist combination. I just love it! I also used another Sale-A-Bration item, but this is available with a minimum $100 order. It is the Celebrate You Thinlit Dies. 3 wonderful words are included; "Celebrate", "You" and "Amazing". There is a stamp set called Amazing You that coordinates with this Thinlit set too. It is also a Sale-A-Bration free item with a $50 minimum order. Here is a video highlighting these products.

I hope you enjoyed my projects for class today. Join me again next Wednesday to see what class projects are being used.

If you are in need of any products you can place an order online. I appreciate you choosing me as your demonstrator. Memories & More
Monday

Hi Everyone,

Welcome to my Memories & More Monday. Today I wanted to share a layout I recently completed using the Color Theory Memories & More pack. This Includes 52 double-sided 3" x 4" (7.6 x 10.2 cm) cards, 2 each of 26 designs; 20 double-sided 4" x 6" (10.2 x 15.2 cm) cards, 2 each of 10 designs; 2 cardstock sticker sheets; 4 printed acetate cards, 1 each 4" x 6" (10.2 x 15.2 cm) and 3 each 3" x 4" (7.6 x 10.2 cm.) * Colors: Berry Burst, Crushed Curry, Dapper Denim, Old Olive, Soft Suede

Color Theory Card Pack

One of the things I love about this card pack is that I can use them for every season of the year. I happened to use the ones for summer for my layout.

The already printed words on some of the self adhesive
pieces and cards was great for this page

I used some of the self adhesive pieces to accent the page

I used one of the clear acetate sheets with the stripes and
happy over it. This was perfect for this picture
For this cute layout, I think it took me only 15 minutes. A quick cut of the pictures and picking out a couple of cards was all it took. I then had a little fun accenting with some of the self adhesive pieces. I hope you take some time to explore the Memories & More products that Stampin' Up! has to create your own memories.

Finding Inspiration Friday
Brusho Techniques

Hi Everyone,

Welcome to another Finding Inspiration Friday. One of the new products that Stampin' Up! has added to their coloring products is Brusho. Brusho has been out on the market for some time now in lots of colors. Stampin' Up! has a set of 5 colors that coordinate really well with Stampin' Up! colors. The price is very reasonable and comparable as well. I decided to take some time to explore these colors and techniques as well.

First of all, I want to share with you the colors that are included in the Brusho Set by Stampin' Up! I also have done a bit of mixing for some additional colors.

5 colors in the set

7 more colors by combining

the 5 colors when spritzed
It was so fun to do some color mixing and spritzing. I really think you can get many more shades than the ones I got. It just depends on the amount of each color you use.

For my projects, I used several techniques. I won't describe them all, but I will have a video at the end that Stampin' Up! has recorded so you can get an idea of how to us the Brusho in many ways.

Brusho to the stamp technique

embossed image and Brusho applied

Brusho applied to watercolor paper and then spritzed with water
These projects were really fun. Depending on the technique, you will want to choose stamped images that will work best for that technique. I hope I have inspired you to explore the new Brusho by Stampin' Up!

Stop by next Friday for another Finding Inspiration Friday. Here is a video on Brusho techniques by Stampin' Up!

Wonderful Wednesday
Weekly Class

Hi Everyone,

Happy Wednesday to you all. It's going to be a weekly wonderful Wednesday when I share projects from my weekly classes I hold in my workshop room. This week we are using the Sure Do Love You Bundle of products. I love everything in this suite of products.

This class was inspired by the cute love box that you can make from the Lots to Love Framelits Dies. I saw this box on YouTube with Chick-n-Scratch and thought it was so cute. The box is the perfect size to hold about 3 of the new Narrow Note Cards & Envelopes, so I decided to have a couple of cards for everyone to make as well.

Sure Do Love You Clear-Mount Bundle
Save 10% when you purchase the bundle
 (stamp set & Dies)

The color combination was really fun to do for this week's class. The Painted with Love Specialty Designer Series Paper has some great coordinating colors. Calypso Coral was the basis for the class and the Painted with love DSP works great! The foil accenting in the paper is wonderful! It's really hard to see the shimmer in the catalog, but it's great.

The note card with the glittered heart is a lot of fun to create. I saw a project similar to this, but it didn't say how to create the heart. I used the new Gold Glitter Flakes from the Occasions Catalog. To do this heart, you will need the multi purpose adhesive sheets found in the annual catalog. You can adhere the adhesive sheet to what ever cardstock you want. I think white or gold would be perfect. I used Calypso Coral, but it is difficult to get every spot covered. My heart is completely covered, but the glitter flakes are reflecting the Calypso Coral heart around it. To get the heart completely covered, you will need to first run the cardstock through the Big Shot with the heart die.

You then glue the heart down in place with adhesive side up. Peel off the backing and now you have a super sticky surface. Pour the Gold Glitter Flakes all over the heart. Use a scrap paper to mash down the flakes to get them to adhere. You will see that there are still some small areas that aren't covered.

Get your gold stamping glitter and pour this onto the heart. Again use a scrap paper to mash down the glitter and flakes. Now your heart will be completely covered. Tap off excess and the card it good to go.

I hope you enjoyed these projects from class. Join me next week for another Wonderful Wednesday post.

Memories & More
Monday

Hi Everyone,

January always brings those things in life we want to improve or change. One thing I want for this year is to work on the memories of my family and friends. I've dedicated Mondays as my Memories & More days. Stampin' Up! has a wide variety of beautiful Memories & More Card packs that make memory keeping a breeze. One set that I really love is the Petal Passion Memories & More Card pack in the Occasions Catalog.

I love the black and white theme of this card pack. It leaves so many possibilities when working with them. I can color some of the images or use the cards as is. I love the die-cut and punch out words and embellishments. I've created a few card samples for you to see how easy it is to use the cards.

The rectangle with the vines is the memory card.

This is my favorite card in the pack. I just divided it into
3 pieces

Two cards were used. I punched the saying out
of one of the cards and layered it on another card

This card with flowers and lines was trimmed
for this card
These are just a few of the projects I created using the Petal Passion Memories & More cards. The Sweet Soiree Embellishment kit was also used for these projects. That's a great kit as well.

I hope you join me next Monday. I will be sharing some page layouts using the Petal Passion Memories & More cards

The Results are In
Finding Inspiration Card Challenge

Hi Everyone,
It is always so fun to have stampers join in on card contests. I recently posted a Finding Inspiration Friday Card Design Contest and I have five entries for this month. The winner will win the Blossom Builder punch. This was the design template that was the inspiration for the projects. To participate you simply needed to create a project inspired by this template. You didn't have to use Stampin' Up! products. I hope you like all these wonderful entries. Which is your favorite?

Bea created this fall project. What wonderful colors!

I love how Linda decided to lay out her card

Christi really make a super cute card. There are
some puffy stickers on this.

Jessica is getting ready for spring with this fun card

Jenny entered this fun project. I love the sparkly stars!

So how do these projects get judged? I have my husband and 2 daughters privately vote on the cards. Which ever one gets the most votes, wins. This was such a fun template to share for this design challenge. Okay, so which do you like best? The winner is....

Christi's crazy cats took top honors for this month's challenge. The puffy milk bottle and green cat really pops off the card. Christi wins the Blossom Builder punch for winning. I host a Friday Design Challenge each month, so be sure to check back and submit your own project next time.
