What a Wow Wednesday Beauty Abounds + Butterflies
Hi Everyone, Thanks so much for stopping by today. We are still have lots of snow out here in the Pacific Northwest, but that just means more stamping! Today I wanted to continue to share some wonderful projects using the products from the Stampin' Up! Occasions Catalog that runs through May. There are so many fantastic products and it seems not enough time to share them all. I have some great samples to share with you created by some wonderful stamping friends.

This beautiful card was created by Vikki Beck. Vikki creates wonderful projects every time she participates in my swaps. This card was created using Highland Heather Cardstock and inks. She also paired a bit of Gorgeous Grape as well. Notice the embossed part of her card? That was created using the Big Shot Embossing Mats and Butterfly Beauty Thinlits Dies. The butterfly accents are also from the thinlits dies.

This is a special fold card. Many call this the Z-Fold. I just lov…

Something to Stamp Saturday Freshly Made Sketch Challenge

HI Everyone, Welcome to my Stamp Something Saturday post. It's that time again to be inspired by a sketch challenge. This time from Freshly Made Sketches #375 by Cecile. Here is what she has to say. "Hello everyone! C├ęcile here. I have a freshly made sketch for you and I hope you'll like it. Remember, the most important thing is to have fun, so don't let those triangles scare you, and feel free to use any shape instead. I just can't wait to see what you'll come up with"! I was happy when she said that you  could use any shapes. I first tried to design with creating triangles, but it wasn't working out, so I switched to the Stitched Rectangle Framelits by Stampin' Up! and it turned out great.

The stamp set is the Hello Cupcake free Sale-A-Bration set. I earned it free with a $50 order. It is such a cute stamp set! Another fantastic thing is that from March 1st - 31st, you can purchase a coordinat…

What to Share Wednesday Lasting Lilly Sale-A-Bration

Hi Everyone, Welcome to my Wednesday blog post. I really wanted to take some time to think about winter coming to an end, but it seems to have other plans. We were hit with a huge snowstorm for a week. I ended up with over 20 inches of snow in my area in Washington State. When it was supposed to warm up for rain, it didn't and it just kept on going. We haven't had school yet this week. I work for our local school district. Kids are having fun, but now the school year gets longer. I guess that's okay since I've been crafting and having fun myself. The projects I'm sharing were created by some great stampers. They include Kathy Maurer, Lorrie Skinner, and Carolyn Dick.

Today I wanted to share all about the wonderful products of Sale-A-Bration. The Lasting Lilly free stamp set is wonderful and is yours with a $100 order. This set is perfect for many occasions and has sayings for those times of need. I recently hosted a …
Make it on Monday + Prize Patrol Paper Players Color Challenge#428

Hi Everyone, Welcome to Monday and my Paper Players Color Challenge card. The Paper Players and other blogs host weekly challenges sometimes they are sketch challenges and other times it's color challenges. It's so fun to create with a challenge. Often times, you wouldn't necessarily pick the colors together, but you have the chance to use whichever stamps and accessories you'd like and the results are fantastic.

The colors for PP428 are wonderful together! Melon Mambo takes on a more reddish tone when paired with Basic Gray and Smokey Slate. This challenge goes for another week, so you should design a project to submit as well.

For my project, I used the Pretty Kitty Stamp set by Stampin' Up! This set is so cute! I love the sayings in this set. The images were colored with watercolor pencils and a blender pen. That's my favorite way to color!

For the heart accents, I used the heart thinlits from the …
Stamp Something Saturday Global Design Project
Hi Everyone, Welcome to the weekend and my post. One of my favorite things is to participate in design challenges. This time it's for the Global Design Project (GDP). The theme for this time is "Down the Garden Path" which is wishful thinking. My area in the Pacific Northwest is in the midst of a snow storm for a week and it started yesterday. I have 8" of snow and counting. I do love when we get snow, but it is rare.
For my project, I decided to use some wonderful new products by Stampin' Up! The fantastic Floral Romance Specialty Designer Series Paper is perfect for this challenge.

Another thing you will love is the Rectangle Stitched Framelits. Stampin' Up! now has layering circles, ovals, and rectangles. It is a great addition to give stampers more choices. The rectangle works perfectly for the stamps from the Hostess Only set called Just Because. I water colored using aqua painters and classic ink.
There are m…
