Perfect Party Pandas
Make a Great Sale-A-Bration Time

Hi Everyone,

It's hard to believe that we are into our second week of January. Our weather here in the Pacific Northwest is above normal temperatures (mid. 40s) and we have lots of rain. I recently had my Occasions and Sale-A-Bration catalog open house. It was a lot of fun and one of the projects we created used all Sale-A-Bration free products that you can earn with a $50 minimum purchase. For these cute panda cards, we used the Party Pandas Stamp set, the Tutti-Fruitti cards and Envelopes, and the Bubble & Fizz DSP. All 3 products are found in the Sale-A-Bration catalog and all coordinate so well together.

Check out the fun Bubble a& Fizz DSP video with coordinating Bubble Over Stamp Bundle

I love when Stampin' Up! designs Designer Series Paper that coordinate with the framelits. It really makes card making super easy. This bundle isn't the only one that coordinates framelits that match the Designer Series Paper. The Magical Day bundle also has paper and framelits that can be used together.

I hope you find time today to be creative. Be sure to look through your catalogs and see which products can coordinate together for some fantastic projects. If you don't have the current catalogs, I'm happy to get them out to you.

If you are in need of any products you can place an order online. I appreciate you choosing me as your demonstrator. Be sure to use my January Hostess Code #ATBD42HF for your chance to win hostess rewards. A minimum $25.00 qualifies you. Please do not mark "No Contact" when you order. I won't be able to contact you if you win the January Hostess.

Remember that when you order on-line, you can earn "Loyalty Bucks". For every $25.00 you order, you receive 1 loyalty bucks. Collect 20 loyalty bucks and you receive $30.00 free merchandise. Finding Inspiration Friday
So Do Love You
New from Stampin' Up!

Hi Everyone,

The New Year brings the cold days of winter, but also the time to get working on your much needed Valentine's cards, gifts, and goodies. I had so much fun using some of the new Occasions Catalog products to create these three cards for my weekly class. The So Do Love You Suite is fantastic. I wasn't sure that I was going to like the Painted with Love Specialty Designer Series Paper, but when I opened the package, I couldn't stop! The colorful designs and gold accents are wonderful together. If you have followed my blog for a while, you know I love the designer series papers (DSP). Be sure to comment and share if you liked my projects today. I love to chat.

Do you notice the Painted Love Gold Vinyl Stickers? (The 3 hearts)
For this project, I used Melon Mambo for my base and ink for the background and heart. Wild Wasabi ink was used for the words and larger heart. The new Whisper White 1/4" Organza Ribbon is perfect! The stamped background was created by using a heart stamp from the So Do Love You stamp set and one of the stamps in the Window Shopping stamp set.

Surprise inside

One nice feature is that the back side of the specialty DSP
doesn't have the gold accents. I love to mix and match

I was so glad when Stampin' Up! began to carry 3 x 3" envelopes again. The best way to get experience in designing projects is to begin with 3 x 3" note cards. This allows you to get a great focal point. Then how easy it is to add this to a larger project. For this project, I used the specialty DSP, the So Do Love You Stamp set and the Lots of Love Box Framelits Dies. Powder Pink and Rich Razzleberry inks were used for the heart.  I used the Gold Vinyl Stickers on this project as well.

For my last project, I combined Rich Razzleberry and Powder Pink as my base colors. It was so easy to coordinate colors. The DSP uses Rich Razzleberry, Melon Mambo, Powder Pink, and Calypso Coral. This card uses all of the colors and looks great. I bet you can spot the Gold Vinyl Stickers on this project too? Hint, look at the 2 hearts. Here is another picture to share with you with projects focusing more on the Calypso Coral and Powder Pink color scheme.

I hope you enjoyed my projects today. I really can't get enough of the Painted with Love Specialty DSP or this suite of products. If you don't have a demonstrator, I would be happy to send you a copy of the new Occasions Catalog. You can check out my demonstrator website for my events as well.

Hello Occasions & Sale-A-Bration
It's the Most Wonderful Time of
Stampin' Up! Year

Hi Everyone,

If I happened to have a party hat and party kazoo, I would be having them with me right now. Today is the day that the new Stampin' Up! Occasions Catalog and Sale-A-Bration time begins. I've been hard at work pouring over the most wonderful products to purchase as well as all the fantastic Sale-A-Bration products you earn for free. Sale-A-Bration runs from January through March, so there is lots of time to earn all the wonderful items available.

During Sale-A-Bration, there are 3 ways to earn wonderful rewards

It's funny that for a long time I just thought about the $50.00 minimum purchase to earn a free Sale-A-Bration product, but just look at the awesome other additional rewards you can earn by hosting or joining during Sale-A-Bration!

I wanted to share with you a few of the must have products that I love the most.

So Do Love You Suite (all the products are a must)!
Return to my blog Friday for projects that I created
using this suite

The Petal Passion Suite is going to be the most
popular this spring for sure! Check out my
demonstrator website for a specialty class
coming in March

The Magical Day Suite will have you hooked. The DSP
and stamps are fantastically fun!
These are just a few of the suites and products that I think are the best ever. They also can qualify you for a free Sale-A-Bration item if you purchase the stamp set and coordinating framelits (Bundle).

If you are in the Bremerton, Washington area, on Saturday, January 6th, I am hosting an Open House with prizes and make-n-takes. Not in the area? No problem. I will be posting blogs with opportunities for you to win prizes by simply visiting and commenting.

I hope you are just as excited as I am for this wonderful time of the year. If you don't have a demonstrator, I am happy to send you an Occasions and Sale-A-Brations catalog. You can also view all of the products on-line beginning today. Thanks so much for stopping by.

Baby it's Cold Outside
Blogging Friends Blog Hop

Hi Everyone,

I hope that your holidays were wonderful, safe, and healthy. All of us here at Blogging Friends want to wish you all a Happy New Year. It's time for our first blog hop for 2018 and what better way than to have a winter theme. We are Stampin' Up! demonstrators from all over, so I hope you enjoy your time with us today.

Recently I was at a vintage store in our town when I spotted a really cute scene. It is a winter village scene done creatively. I really wanted to share even though I didn't make it.

Snow has been on my mind for the last couple of weeks. I traveled to Michigan on the 11th. It was snowing when my husband and I landed and it continued to snow the whole time we were there. Then, we just got snow on Christmas Eve and Christmas day at home. My projects are all about the cold and snow. I hope you enjoy.

Let it snow, Let it snow! I just love these penguins. It's an oldie, but a goody stamp set Penguin Pals. These 2 cards are so fun.

To make the igloo on both cards, use the 2 1/2" circle punch and run it through the Big Shot using the Brick Wall Embossing folder. Soft Sky and Night of Navy were the main colors for these projects. I know you are now thinking that a cup of hot cocoa sounds really good. Be sure to take some time to hop on to the next blogging friend's blog. Comment and share. I love to chat.

A Stampin' Up! Year in Review
Hi Everyone,

As I sit and reflect on 2017 and all the wonderful stamping that has taken place with many friends and family, I wanted to take some time to share a few of my favorite events and creations from this past year. From weekly class, to stamp-a-stacks, it has been a great year. I hope you enjoy my favorites.

I really love the Painted Harvest Stamp set. There are so many wonderful things you can create using this stamp set and leaf punch. For this weekly class, I focused on "Flash" Cards. These are super quick and easy to design. You simply pre-cut your focal pieces and then you can create many different designed projects. The pre-cut sizes are: the colored cardstock is 2 3/4" x 4 1/4" and the white or vanilla is 2 1/2" x 4". Once you have these, the creativity never ends.

Okay, if you have seen or played with the new Stampin' Blends, then you know how wonderful they are! I loved this weekly class where my stamping friends got to try the Stampin' Blends with these projects. The Color Me Happy Stamp set was created specifically for the premiere of the new Stampin' Blends. I had so much fun creating these projects.

One of the events that I hold each month is the "Stamp of the Month". For November, the Nature Sings Stamp set was featured. I think this set is a wonderful all season set. The images are perfect for masculine cards. I really would like to see more masculine stamp sets in the Stampin' Up! catalogs, but if you look in the catalog with a eye for masculine, you can find quite a bit and think outside the box.

I'm sure there could be so many more things to share from this past year that I really enjoyed creating, but that would fill up too many blog pages! I hope you have enjoyed these projects too. Be sure to comment and share. I love to chat. Be sure to check out the Stampin' Blends club. It's a great way to Get your Stampin' Blends over time and benefit from upcoming Sale-A-Bration and Hostess Rewards.

Let the Gifting Begin
with Hand Stamped Projects

Hi Everyone,

This is the time for fast and cute gifts for friends, family, and coworkers. The cute nutcracker treat box above was made using the mini clear treat boxes from Stampin' Up! as well as the Christmas Quilt Designer Series Paper and Christmas Around the World Designer Series Paper. If you can believe it, I didn't stamp a thing for this box. The nutcracker and oval sayings were cut out of the DSP. I simply added the bow using the Quilted Christmas Ribbon and filled the box with chocolates. I was able to create 15 of the boxes in just an hour. I say that is fantastic.

During this past summer, I came across a few boxes of really nice clear ornaments at our church rummage sale. I knew I had to have them and couldn't wait for the holidays.

I love curling designer series paper and putting it into the glass ornament. I then punched out mini stars out of the gold and silver glimmer papers to also put inside. I added a tag using the Oh What Fun stamp set and have quick and cute gifts. Both of the DSP used in the ornaments are going to be retiring at the end of this month.

I hope you enjoyed my quick and cute gifts I created. Comment and share if you do. Thanks for stopping in today.

If you are in need of any products you can place an order online. I appreciate you choosing me as your demonstrator. Be sure to use my December Hostess Code #NSWKCN7N for your chance to win hostess rewards. A minimum $25.00 qualifies you. Please do not mark "No Contact" when you order. I won't be able to contact you if you win the December Hostess.

Holiday Creativity
with Stampin' Up!

Hi Everyone,

I hope this time of year finds you sipping hot cocoa and adding that bit of peppermint to it. I love this time of year because it seems more special to hold that hot mug of goodness. Today I wanted to share with you a way to go a little further in creating and being creative with stamping. When creating a card, sometimes you can stare at your cardstock and go blank. You struggle with a layout and it can be discouraging. I have found that creating a tag can help get your creativity started. Tags are smaller and more focused. Once you have a tag created like the one above (isn't it fantastic)? you can expand to your card. This cute tag was created using the Stanta's Sleigh bundle. This is a wonderful bundle that makes it easy to be creative. This tag was created quickly and has a lot of wow.

It's super easy to step up this tag by using the Foil Snowflakes from the Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog which is soon to be retired and then mount the tag onto the card front. I stamped a cute holly stamp on the background of the Real Red base. I also changed the ribbon at the top to the Red Tinsel ribbon also in the Holiday Catalog and on sale through the rest of the month.

Thanks for stopping in. I hope you get inspired to create and share. It's a great time to jump into your wishlist with my Mystery Grab Bag opportunity. Be sure to check it out.

Remember that when you order on-line, you can earn "Loyalty Bucks". For every $25.00 you order, you receive 1 loyalty bucks. Collect 20 loyalty bucks and you receive $30.00 free merchandise. You might remember that on Cyber Monday, Stampin' Up! also offered free shipping. This is a "rewind". For 24 hours, you can take advantage of all the wonderful products on your wish list and enjoy free shipping. I love when this happens. There are 2 colors and everything is cut and ready for you to quickly create these ornaments. They make wonderful gifts and can tie on to any package for a festive wrap.

We have all heard about Christmas in the country and this Quilted Christmas Suite makes it a warm and inviting Christmas in the country. This suite will give your creations a homey, handmade feel. The Christmas Quilt Stamp bundle with framelits allow you to create endless possibilities. I especially like the Stitched Felt Embellishments and the Quilted Christmas 1/4" Ribbon.

There is still time to create gifts from the heart. Take advantage of the free shipping. If you don't think that is a good enough incentive to order, well I have a special going on as well. It's my Mystery Grab bag. With a $50.00 order, you receive a free Mystery Grab bag filled with stamping gooodies.
