It's all About the Retiring List

Hi Everyone,

Welcome to another Blogging Friends Blog Hop. We are many demonstrators who love to post together each month, so you can see lots of great creations and get inspired in your own crafting. This month, it's all about the Retiring Products. Many are discounted up to 50% off. For this project, I used the In-Color Watermelon Wonder card stock and beautiful satin ribbon. The Succulent Garden DSP and the framelits add great texture to the card. The greeting is from the Do More of What Makes You Happy stamp set already discontinued. I think the subtle DSP and the Pop of Watermelon makes this a great card.

Okay, who doesn't love the Party Animal products? The DSP is so fun! The base of my project uses the retiring In-Color Delightful Dijon Card Stock and the Party Animal DSP. The Party Pop Up Thinlit die and the Emerald Envy 1/8" Taffita ribbon were also used.

Surprise! There is a gift inside. For the inside of this gift card, simply cut a 5 1/2" x 10" piece of Vanilla card stock. Score at 4", 5", 6". Fold center as mountain fold and the others as valley folds. Fold card stock in half at the 5" score mark. Use the Decorative Label punch (retiring) and place the punch towards the bottom of the card stock. Insert the label punch half way and punch.

Add your birthday greeting and streamers using the Balloon Adventures Stamp Set. I really like how this simply looks like a birthday card and when it's opened, it's a surprise.
