Finding Inspiration Friday with Stampin' Up! Designer Series Papers

 Hi Everyone,

Thanks for stopping in today on this inspiration Friday post. If you follow me, you know I love Stampin' Up! designer series papers. I love to let the DSP shine and make stunning projects with minimal effort. I "cased" a couple of cards and decided to show how you can alter up an inspiration easily by switching out with DSP.

For my first pair of cards, I took a card I already created (the blue and white) and thought about using DSP in the layers instead.

For the new version of my card, I used the wonderful Berry Delightful Sale-A-Bration DSP (part of the Berry Blessings Bundle). This paper is awesome! It takes me back to my childhood when my dad and I would go strawberry picking in Michigan.

The Sweet Strawberry Bundle coordinates perfectly with the Berry Delightful DSP. The Strawberry Builder punch is great because it includes the little flower and leaf as well. I used the Stitched so Sweetly dies for the stitched rectangle. I used Soft Seafoam, but you can use many different colors. Use the colors from the DSP and you have perfect coordination.

Here is another wonderful variation of my card. Vicki Tillett sent this to me after my Wednesday FB Live, and it's so cute! I really like how Vicki used the Berry Delightful DSP even for the stitched layers. She also used many of the stitched rectangles included in the Stitched so Sweetly dies. Thanks for sharing Vicki.

Okay, I absolutely love this next "casing". Deb Babcock created the wonderful Hot Dog birthday card. I love how she textured each piece of cardstock.

I used the True Love Designer Series paper. For this card, I wanted to keep it black and white and then have a pop of color. I used the 2 1/4" circle punch to have flowers from the DSP. I then used Granny Apple Green and Poppy Parade Stampin' Blends for the flowers.

I am always impressed how Stampin' Up! coordinates many products to allow you to create just stunning cards and other projects. I love the matte black elements.

A tip I want to share is that if you haven't, you should get a package of Thick Basic White Cardstock. This will help you when you design with the different designer series papers. Every package of DSP has several colors that were used when creating the paper. If you have several packs of DSP or have the paper share I offered, you may not have many other colors of cardstock, so having Thick Basic White cardstock, you are able to use any of the designer papers you have.

Thanks so much for stopping in for my Friday Inspiration post. I really get excited for all the wonderful DSP. If you love the Berry Delightful DSP, you can earn it free during Sale-A-Bration.

January and February is Sale-A-Bration time. With a $50 order, you can choose one Level 1 Sale-A-Bration item FREE.

If you would like me to send you a mini catalog or the Sale-A-Bration brochure, simply contact me. I'm happy to send one your way.

Are you want to place an order for wonderful new products? I would appreciate if it you choose me as your demonstrator. Use the Hostess Code #DZQKJHFH at check out. With a minimum $50 order, you choose one level 1 Sale-A-Bration item. Move up to a $100 order and choose two Level 1, or one Level 2 Sale-A-Bration item. You will earn "Loyalty Bucks" with me too. It's a Win/Win!

Weekly Wednesday with Fine Art Floral Suite + Gilded Leafing Beauty

 Hi Everyone,

I'm so excited to be able to share with you what I did on my last Weekly Wednesday on Facebook Live. The internet connection was not the greatest, so I decided to put my card on my blog today.

The Fine Art Floral Suite is stunning! I decided to focus on the wonderful Fine Art Floral DSP and the Art Gallery Bundle. The detail in the DSP is amazing!

The Gilded Leafing that partners with the Heat and Stick powder is so much fun to use. I used the Leafing on the layering stamp of the flower. You can see how to use the Heat and Stick powder and Gilded Leafing in my YouTube video.

There are so many ideas and samples using the Fine Art Floral Suite on Pinterest too. It seems this is the #1 products in the January-June 2021 Mini Catalog.

If you watch my video, you will notice that I have a giveaway of the Heat and Stick powder and the Gilded Leafing to one lucky winner. I said the comments would be open through the 15th, but that's too soon, so I have it open through the 22nd. You simply need to subscribe to my YouTube channel, and comment on what you liked best in the video. That's it!

Thanks for joining me today. Let me know what you are working on in stamping. I'd love to connect.

Finding Inspiration Friday. Monochromatic Queen Anne's Lace Card

Hi Everyone,

Thanks for stopping in today. I wanted to share how much I love to create projects with a monochromatic color theme. That means you use hues of one color. I think it just adds so much richness.

For my card today, I combined the Queen Anne's Lace and Woven Heirlooms stamp sets together.

If you look closely, you can see a delicate design in the stripes that I stamped as a background.

You have to remember to put that special touch inside your cards too. Here I simply added my sentiment and a touch of color with the flowers. If you want to see more details, you can watch my video below.

Thanks again for stopping in today. I hope you are inspired to create some projects using one color. Share any with me. I'd love to see what you make. I also wanted to remind you of some wonderful promotions happening.

Finding Inspiration Friday. January-June 2021 Mini Sneak Peek

 Hi Everyone,

Thanks for stopping in today. I wanted to share a project I created during my Wednesday Facebook Live session. I was previewing some of the upcoming products in the January-June Mini catalog and Sale-A-Bration Brochure. Just so you know there are wonderful things to help your projects soar.

This card was created using the Sale-A-Bration set called Corner Bouquet. There are 2 corner floral pieces and a couple accent things. This is a level 1 set and free with a $50 purchase beginning in January. I used the new Blending Brushes. OMG! These are amazing! You get 3 Blending Brushes and they add color so smoothly.

I used all 3 brushes and began with Pear Pizazz, then the Daffodil Delight at the top of the flowers. I then used Melon Mambo through the center. I was so impressed at how smooth the brushes add the color.

I hope you have been inspired with my card today. This is a really simple set, but it's so beautiful with the shades of color added. The vellum greeting adds a bit of sophistication and elegance.

If you'd like a chance to win this Corner Bouquet stamp set or the Blending Brushes, these are just a couple items that will be part of my 12 Days of Stampin' Giveaways. Here are the details.

Thanks again for stopping in. I'm so excited for all of the upcoming wonderful products and plan to share lots of wonderful things. Remember I host Facebook Live every Wednesday. I hope you are inspired to join me each week.

12 Mondays of Christmas Cards Week 6 with Brightly Gleaming

 Hi Everyone,

Welcome to my 12 Mondays of Christmas Cards post. It has been so fun to celebrate the road to the holidays with festive cards. Today my project also is for the Paper Player's card sketch challenge. It's prefect because the theme is the holidays.

The Brightly Gleaming Specialty Designer Paper is just beautiful! I wanted to have minimal stamping on this project, so the DSP was able to be the star.

The Christmas Gleaming Stamp set and Coordinating Ornament Punch helps to create a beautiful greeting. The ornaments in the stamp set are so intricate and stunning.

It was fun creating this card for the PP517 Hooray for the Holidays challenge. There are so many wonderful cards to see, so be sure to check them out at the Paper Players blog.

Weekly Wednesday with Tags Buffet (Not just for tags)!

 Hi Everyone,

Welcome to Weekly Wednesday. It's that time of week when you think about the upcoming weekend, but still need to keep your head in the game of work. Today I wanted to spotlight the Tags Buffet Kit by Stampin' Up!

The Tags Buffet Kit is so awesome! Let me tell you why. There are the most wonderful and large die-cut pieces and beautiful papers! In the kit, there are enough supplies for 30 tags, 5 each of 6 designs. This is fantastic! What's even better is that you can use these pieces to create quick and stunning holiday cards that can coordinate with the tags.

I'm sharing a sneak peek of a holiday card that is part of the Tags and Cards class that I have prepared. In this class you will receive supplies for 3 tags and 3 cards using the items from the Tags Buffet kit. You will also have a box to put your creations in for safe keeping until you are ready to get your holiday on. I will package everything together, and include a color tutorial for you to complete at your convivence.

The two cards I'm sharing today is just showing how you can change up a card by simply switching the die cut piece. I just think the gold metallic accents are stunning! The Dainty Diamonds Embossing folder is becoming one of my favorites as well.

I have several kits available for the Tags and Cards Buffet Class to go. For more details and how to get your kits, simply check out my Buffet Class blog post.

Be sure to reserve your kit by the 15th of November. There is another sneak peek there too.

12 Mondays of Christmas Cards Week 5 with In the Pines

 Hi Everyone,

Thanks for stopping in. I had a wonderful weekend with the Stampin' Up! On Stage at Home event and almost missed doing my 12 Mondays of Christmas Cards post. It might be a day late, but it still puts the warmth of the holidays in our homes.

I love everything about this card! I created this on my fun Stampin' Bingo night and I'm tickled at how well it turned out. One the reasons is that fantastic tree die from the Pine Wood Dies. The intricate cut outs are incredible! For added texture, I used the Dainty Diamonds 3D Embossing folder and WOW!

The In the Pines Bundle is so great. There are such wonderful textures in the stamp set and then the dies are great, especially this tree one. I love how the DSP shows through the die-cuts.

Here is another project using the stamp set which is a 2-step stamping set. So beautiful!

This card features the 2-step stamping technique with the outline of the tree and then the inside of the tree. Can you see how much texture the card has? So beautiful!

Thanks so much for joining me today. I'm sorry that I'm a day late, but the weekend has blown my mind with the most wonderful stamping things ahead.

If you'd like to place an order through me, I would appreciate your business. Shop my online store and use the Hostess code W4AGUGSD. With a minimum $50 order (before shipping and tax). I will send you a package of the Bird Ballad Trinkets. These trinkets are so rich and wonderful!
