I had fun doing my "Create on the Spot" video. I love taking a card that I don't care for too much and changing it up with wonderful Stampin Up! products. Today's "Create on the Spot" features Painted Petal photopolymer stamp set and the Painted Blossoms Designer series paper. I hope you enjoy the video and project.

 



Supplies: Painted Petals stamp set, Painted Blossoms DSP, Pacific Point CS, Wild Wasabi CS, Spring Flowers embossing folder, Pears, Rose Red, Wild Wasabi, and Daffodil Delight ink, Stampin' Dimensionals and Deco Label Framelits. Big Shot needed.



 



 

 

 

Sizes and Directions: Cut Pacific Point to 5 1/2" x 8 1/2". Emboss front of card with Spring Flowers embossing folder. Cut Painted Blooms strip 4 1/4" x 1 1/2". Glue strip down. Using scrap white cardstock, stamp several stems in Wild Wasabi ink. Use Rose Red ink to stamp several flowers. Accent with Daffodil Delight. Us the 2nd and 3rd largest of the Deco Labels Framelits for your flowers and Wild Wasabi layer. Use dimensionals to adhere the flowers. Add pearls to the center of the flowers. Enjoy your beautiful card.

Hi Everyone,

A beautiful day out in the garden today planting more veggies. I'm running out of room, but I have a few grow tubs to set up, so I should be good.

Well I had a blast having a "Stamp til you Cramp" night. We managed 8 cards that I created on the spot. I did have some help along the way from the stampers too. I hope you like my samples. Hi Everyone,

Well it was a very productive day out in the yard. My husband and I managed to finish making 2 more raised beds and cleaning out the other ones to get ready to get some plants in the ground. I also emptied my pots on the deck so I can try some new "grow tubs" that I hope will work better than pots. Check out my boxes all ready to go. Special thanks to my nephew. He came over and helped me weed the 3 beds I already have. My sugar snap peas will be very happy to get planted.

 

 

 

On another note, I can't believe how many sets I have that are being retired by Stampin' UP! Look at all of them. I'm having a "Drown in my own Tears" Stamp-a-Stack on Saturday, May 9th to say goodbye to them all. The projects will all feature things being discontinued. Hi Everyone,

A busy weekend is upon us with Dance Arts Theatre's production of a compilation of short musicals. "Babes in Toyland" is the main show. My daughter, Sam is a fairy, tree, and a rooster. She has been dancing for close to 11 years. The girls have a "Secret Pal" during the spring production. Sam decided to make chipboard clipboards for a couple of the dancers. I wanted to share them with you today.

How great are these. Sam did a fantastic job picking out the designer papers and colors she knew that girls would like. One is based on Night of Navy and the other is Old Olive. Both papers have been retired, but what a great use of them. I also had Sam used Blendability markers to color rhinestones for the Old Olive board. I'm sad that Stampin' Up! can't sell these anymore due to the poor manufacturing, but I'm sure they will return in the future.

You will have the opportunity to order retiring products at discounted prices (up to 50 percent off retail) before they're gone. Start evaluating your current inventory and get ready to share the retired list with your customers when it goes live on April 21. Be sure to get your accessories first, because these are only available until gone. I will post as soon as the retired list is posted. Like you, we sincerely hoped that the Butterflies Thinlits Dies would arrive in time for Sale-A-Bration, and when that didn't happen, again like you, we hoped they would be here in time for our Free Shipping promotion. Unfortunately, that is not going to be the case.

Hi Everyone,

What a blustery, wet, and cold Friday. My daughter and I spent the day crafting. I was prepping for my Tuesday night class, and my daughter, Samantha, was creating a chipboard clipboard. I wanted to share it with you. She did so great.

Stampin' Up no longer sells the chipboards, but they are easy enough to find at a craft store. This board is roughly 4" X 9" board. Samantha used Patio Party DSP (retired) and Blushing Bride CS. The flower and ballerina are stickers. She also added Rhinestones and a Ultrasmooth White satin ribbon with 3/4" Blushing Bride Cheveron Ribbon. This was so much fun for her to make. Samantha plans on taking it with her to a summer dance lab as a decoration in the dorm room she will stay at.

Hi Everyone,

Another fun day on spring break. Doing a bit of cleaning and then playing. I wanted to share a few card ideas with all of you. I did my Easter card using the Happy Easter Bunny. It came out so cute. I used the Calipso Coral Embossing powder and coordinating colors to make it. I am in love with my oval framelits. They make things so easy. Pistachio Pudding cardstock is cut at 4x51/4" and run through the Big Shot using the Spring Flowers embossing folder. Can you notice the  Dazzling Details on the bunny's belly and tail? The Beach House Washi Tape is a perfect accent.

 



 

I have the cutest cards to share with you all. My daughter, Samantha, loves the Minions. She created one a while back and decided to make another one yesterday. She couldn't find the circle punch she needed for the eyes, so she used the heart punch. I snapped a picture because I think they are so cute! I hope you do too. Everything is free handed with exception of the eyes, mouth, and pockets. Pacific Point and Daffodil Delight are the main colors you see. Scraps did the rest.
