Beautiful You
is Just Beautiful

Hi Everyone,

I hope my blog finds you all well. Out here in the Northwest, we are being slammed with so much rain. Other areas are seeing stormy weather too. I wanted to share a few projects with you using the Beautiful You stamp set. My sister-n-law, Arla got creative using the color pencils and aqua painters to give the ladies long dresses. The Rich Razzleberry pencil is such a great color. Here are a few more samples.

These are all so great! I can't decide which I like best, but I do like the one with the umbrella. The long purple skirt is fantastic as well. There are so many things to try with this set. In order to get this effect, you would only ink up the upper half of the woman's body. Then you take your watercolor pencils and aqua painter or blender pens to color and draw a long skirt. The added bow to the third one is really cute.

If you noticed, you can see that the designer series paper is the Oh So Succulent designer series paper. This is one of the free Sale-A-Bration items still available for a few days. With a minimum $50.00 order, you can choose any Sale-A-Bration item. This paper is one of them.

Beautiful you is one of the most popular sets in the Occasions Catalog. If you want to try your creativity, this is the perfect set.

Hi Everyone,

It's that perfect time to think about your Easter card needs as well as those wonderful treats. There are just a few weeks to get it all done. I love making the sour cream treat bags. They are super quick and super easy. I created a basket full and put them out in the district offices where I work. Everyone loves them.

Basket Bunch a Must Have
How cute is this Basket Bunch card created by Vikki Beck?
Super cute!

This is another really great cupcake candle I picked up. It's
perfect for the Easter season. It smells just like carrot cake.
My favorite part of this is the cute polka dots and color of
the tea cup.

The Basket Bunch bundle is so perfect! You can easily cut
out all the cute eggs, chicks, and bunny.
If you need a little head start on your Easter projects, you want to order the Basket Bunch bundle. There are so many wonderful things to create and it's super easy with the framelits.

Time to Sparkle
and Shine with Love Sparkles

 Hi Everyone,

My daughter is competing this weekend in the state Cinderella Pageant. One of the things she has to do is to bring gifts for the outgoing queen as well as the newly crowned queen. We found some beautiful candles from the Cupcake Candle Company out of Squim, WA. They have a store at our local mall.

I took a couple of pastel gift bags and created tags using the Love Sparkles Stamp Set out of the Occasions Catalog. The Whisper White Organza ribbon would be perfect for these as well. I hope you love these candles and tags as much as I do.

Okay check out the cute mugs for these candles. Mint
Macaroon and Melon Mambo were perfect colors for
these bags.

Super cute! The candles also have
different scents. They are yummy!

This one has to be my favorite. It is so sweet! The hearts
and butterfly are wonderful. I also like this mug.
If you need a little sparkle in your life, you want to order the Love Sparkles stamp set. It is perfect for all occasions and you can coordinate with all of your other stamp sets. I think the tags on these bags couldn't get any better. I added Dazzling Diamonds to add that sparkle.

Remember if you order on-line, use the hostess code #MA4F4U2X. This code is valid through March.

Nailed it Bundle
by
Stampin' Up!

Hi Everyone,

I recently had fun crafting with the Nailed it Bundle in the Occasion's Catalog by Stampin' Up! This bundle is so fun with all of the framelits included. No more fussy cutting is necessary. The couple of projects I made were so much fun. I hope you enjoy.

I really like the affect of the Hexagon embossing folder
with foil paper. The little hardware is so fun.

The enamel shapes worked perfect for screw heads.
Simply use a metallic marker to draw a line over them.
These saw cards were so fun. I had my friends Jessica and Christi help me design this one. Christi's is the one in front. I really like how she did her saw handle. She used a piece of the wood grain DSP and then colored the white parts with a Crushed Curry marker. I really like the ruler thinlit. It can create a fun accent.

You may think it's too early to think about Father's day, but you really can get a head start as well as creating wonderful cards for brothers, husbands, and more.

Have you begun your card Design for the Friday Design

Water Color Wow
Revisited

Hi Everyone,

I recently had a second water color class since the first was so popular. I made sure that everyone who registered received a pack of Stampin' Up's Water Color pencils. From there we did several techniques using water color pencils, aqua painters, blender pens and more. I hope you enjoy.

Beautiful you is gorgeous in Pacific Point!

Water Color wash is a popular technique. It is
perfect using water color paper.

Using Stampin-write markers on your clear block creates
a one of a kind look. Simply color on the block and spritz
with water or a mix of alcohol and water.

I loved the 6 x 6 card that Vanessa Webb Created.
I CASED and made it a standard card. Inside
the Lines DSP and blender pens made the
perfect images to color.
One of the things I love about water coloring is that you can create beautiful projects using water color paper or whisper white card stock. The Aqua Painter and blender pens give you the options to decide the type of look you want for your projects. You can go more controlled with Blender Pens or that classic water color look with Aqua Painters.

If you liked these samples and feel like you want to give water coloring a try, you need to order the Stampin' Up! Water Color pencils. These are so popular that they run out of stock, so don't delay! I would also suggest the Water color paper, the Archival Black Stamp pad, and the Aqua-Painters

Remember if you order on-line, use the hostess code #MA4F4U2X. This code is valid through March.

Any time you order from me, remember you earn "Loyalty Bucks". For every $25.00 you spend you earn 1 "Loyalty Buck". Collect 20 and you choose $30.00 of free product as my gift. Check out my specials at my website for more details about "Loyalty Bucks" as well as classes and events.

Organizing and Crafting
With New Products

Hi Everyone,

Recently we had a big snow storm. Our power went out and we were looking for something to do. My craft room has many windows, so my daughter and I decided to do some organizing. I have a great stamp pad holder that also holds my refills. Unfortunately when they are in the holder, you don't know which refill goes with which stamp pad.

Samantha uses a fine tip Sharpe to write the colors of ink on
the lid of each refill

All labeled and ready to go in the holder
I love my stamp pad and refill holder. Now with the labels, I
can easily put the correct pair together. Thanks Sam for the
help on our snow day.

Getting Crafty for On-Stage Live
in April

I am so excited to begin work on creating samples for the displays at On-Stage live in San Diego in April. I was selected to receive new product from the new Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog that comes out in June to create projects to display on the display boards. I received my box in the mail recently of new products. I cannot share any of the items with anyone. NO Spoilers allowed. This makes it very exciting. I can't wait until On-Stage. I can post all my projects once that happens.

I can tell you this: Stamps, Inks, and Papers OH MY!

I hope you enjoyed my tip on storing your refills with your stamp pads. There are lots of stores that carry stamp pad and paper holders.

Sale-A-Bration is a must have.

This card uses a base of 4 1/4" x 11". Score at

to adhere to the short scored side.
