A Fish & A Wish Stampin' Saturday with Bubbles

Hi Everyone,

Welcome to my Stampin' Satuday Blog post. I was so inspired by a couple of items I recently purchased. The A Fish & A Wish Stamp set is wonderful. I just love the texture on the fish images. The other is the Picture This Dies. I'm not sure why it has taken me so long to use them, but now that I have, you might be seeing lots of projects using the dies.

Up close, you can see the "wave" stamp in the background. I wanted to keep the card monochromatic and looking like the sea green colors. Okay, how about the bubbles? These bubbles have just taken this card over the top. I love it! Although my bubbles are clear, Stampin' Up! has the Effervescent Elements in the Annual Catalog that would create great bubbles too.

One of the tips I have for you is to make the inside of your card special. When I use Thick Basic White as a base, I always add a layer to the inside. This adds interest as well as stability. As you add layers to the front of the card, it adds weight to the front, so then the back part feels thinner and lighter. Adding a layer inside your card will fix that.

Thanks again for taking time to read my blog today. Let me know if there are any other stamp sets, dies, or techniques you would like me to share. During October you can earn double Café Coins (shopping Rewards) and will be put in a drawing for Mystery Hostess. When you place a minimum $25 order at my online store, the rewards begin.

Create 3 Holiday Projects with 2 Die-Cuts of Trees

Hi Everyone,

Welcome to my blog for today. It's been unseasonably warm here in the PNW lately, but I'm ready to get the holidays going. If you think you have lots of time to do your Christmas cards, you might rethink. Today I have a great way to get your holiday cards rolling. The Spuced Up Bundle by Stampin' Up! can help you speed up your projects. Read on to see.

When you use the Spruced Up Outline dies, you will be happily suprised when you get a 2 for 1 die-cut images. These dies are specially designed to give you the die-cut image and then the negative, or outline of the image as well.

From this first project, you can see that I stamped the trees on Basic White cardstock with ink. When I die-cut the trees, I also got the white outlines of the trees. You will see them used in my next projects.

Here is the while outline of the tree from my first project. I die-cut a tree from Mint Macaron cardstock and then was able to put a piece of the 2021-2023 In-Color 6"x6" DSP behind to give a great pattern to the tree. I simply then glued the whitle outline in place. Don't you love the little silver stars? I used Sweet Sorbet Cardstock as well.

Since I die-cut trees out of Mint Macaron and Polished Pink, I was able to make a cute holiday gift tag as well. This is a tip I have for you. When you die-cut images out, center them onto cardstock. That way, you will have something that you can create another project out of like I've done.

My gift tag is another example of cutting a tree and using the negative for your project. The die-cut tree was used on the inside of my first card. The white outline tree is wonderful! It's adds a great pop of interest.

I hope you enjoyed my projects today and are inspired to get started on your holiday cards. If you need any supplies, you are in luck. During October you can earn double Café Coins (shopping Rewards) and will be put in a drawing for Mystery Hostess. When you place a minimum $25 order at my online store, the rewards begin.

To see more details on my projects, watch my You Tube video to see the dies in action.

Thanks again for stopping in. Which project did you like best? I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Color Your World with my In-Color Club

Hi Everyone,

I'm so excited to be brining another round of the In-Color Club. Beginning this month-February, you can begin to collect the 2022-2024 In-Color products. There are 5 beautiful new colors to add to your collection. So many of my stamping friends love when Stampin' Up! adds these limited colors. Getting them a little each month helps financially as well.

The 2022-2024 colors are rich and bright. Did you know that the trend this holiday season and winter are bright and bold colors? How fun is that.

Here are the details for my In-Color Club:

  • Beginning in October, place your first In-Color purchase including the cardstock, pad, refill, Stampin' Blends, and ribbon for 1 color group. This comes to $39.25 + shipping and tax.
  • Use the Hostess Code that is posted for each month when ordering (ordering through my link already has the hostess code applied).
  • Mark this purchase on the In-Color tracking sheet.
  • Order for the next 4 months for each of the In-Colors.
  • Once you have completed the collection, fill out your tracking sheet and choose any current stamp set FREE. You will also receive a FREE package of the In-Color Matte Dots ($8.00 value)
I have offered this in the past. Customers have been asking me to offer this again, so I am here to say "Bring on the color".

It's the Start of Something New with Stampin' Up! Starter Kit Promotion

Hi Everyone,

Welcome to the perfect post today. It's the most wonderful time of the year with Stampin' Up! October begins the new year for Stampin' Up! They know that demonstrator rewards are the most appreciated by demonstrators, so Stampin' Up! decided to reward customers with more rewards when joining the Stampin' Up! family.

When I became a demonstrator, I didn't think about what I should get. I didn't have many stamps, inks, or papers. We also didn't have the fabulous die-cutting systems there are now. Stampin' Up! also had suggested kit selections, so I just picked one that I liked.

Today, you can customize and choose any products you wish. I'll talk about that in a bit. Let's look at the benefits of being a demonstrator.

DEMONSTRATOR BENEFITS

  • Get 20%–25% off all Stampin’ Up! products.
  • No “Selling” necessary…. unless you want to
  • Earn additional income based on your sales and recruiting–just how much extra income is up to you.
  • Set your own schedule and put in as much (or as little) time as you’d like.
  • Get support through online training resources, a quarterly magazine, events, and a demonstrator-only online community with thousands of project ideas.
  • Access to regular promotions, giving you an opportunity to contact customers.
  • Opportunity to earn incentive trips.
  • Chance to learn creative tips and techniques, share ideas, and meet new friends who love paper crafting as much as you do!
Now, what can I suggest for your starter kit? You have $155 of merchandise to choose and will pay j$99. That's free shipping and a free Paper Pumpkin kit.

Starter Kit 1: Novice with very little stamping supplies

Starting off with a stamp bundle with a punch is a great way for a beginning stamper. One that has sentiments for many occasions is best. It allows you to stamp a great card, and then step up your card with the coordinating punch. An assortment or cardstock, 5 must have colors, and some adhesives makes this a perfect beginner's kit.

Starter Kit 2 : Has attending some classes and has some stamps and other supplies. Wants to do die-cutting and more challenging things.

For this 2nd starter kit idea, since the stamper has gone to some classes and knows the basics and has some stamps and other supplies, it's time for more getting to be more confident. Stampin' Up! has 2 fabulous die-cutting machines. I really like to have customers begin with the Mini Machine. So many of the dies and embossing folders fit through the Mini and it's easy to store and is portable. The bundle featuring the Stylish Shapes dies is a perfect way to begin using the die-cutting machines.

Starter Kit 3 : Is an avid stamper and has stamped and attended classes. Has the die-cutting system, lots of stamps and things.

For this starter kit idea, it is all about techniques and ways to make your project a real WOW! Heat embossing, embossing paste techniques, and watercoloring all are a step up to a pro.

Starter Kit 4 : Is in Avid stamper and just wants it all for coloring.
I decided to focus on the Stampin' Write Markers. These are water-based markers and have many uses. You can simply color open line images, or step it up a little and use them to color the rubber stamps to get a variation of colors. Stampin' Blends are another popular way to color. Stampin' Up! has over 40 color pairs to choose from.

There are no wrong choices to choosing what is best for you and where you are in your stamping journey. I didn't mention the acryllic blocks that are needed for the stamps, so those could be part of your first order as a demonstrator. I hope you like my starter kit ideas.

By joining my Café Team, you will join a wonderful group of paper crafters. I will support you at any level you choose to participate in too. Most of my friends are hobby demonstrators and love to get their personal discount. I can support all levels of demonstrators. Contact me today to answer any questions or help you with the joining process. Maybe you are all ready to join. If so, join my Cafe' Team.

Happy Stamping,
