Butterfly Beauty Thinlit Dies

Hi Everyone,

Thanks for stopping in today. I'm glad you decided to be part of my blogging day. I am sharing some of the wonderful products in the Stampin' Up! Occasions catalog that are available through June 3rd. One of the most stunning products is the Butterfly Beauty Thinlit dies that coordinate with the Beauty Abounds Stamp set that I shared in a recent post. These butterfly dies are incredible!!! I'm sharing three projects from some great demonstrators who participated in a recent swap with me.

This fun card was created by Deb Babcock. She used the bundle in her project. I really like that she used the Gingham Gala DSP stack as well. Deb focused on Lemon Lime Twist to have this project pop.

I really like this design created by Lynne Ward Wallace. Look closely, can you see that Lynne also used the Gingham Gala DSP stack as well? She used the Grapefruit Grove gingham and die cut the butterflies. Then she layered with Basic Gray. I really like the tones used for this project.

If you have visited my blog in the past, you know I love when things are monochromatic (one color theme). This project created by Cathy Bartlett is stunning! I love how she created her background with the Beauty Abounds Stamp set. Cathy used Calypso Coral and Grapefruit Grove together for this card.

Painted Seasons Sale-A-Bration

Hi Everyone,

Welcome to my Finding Inspiration Friday Post. Today I'm excited to share a couple of projects I've created with the new Painted Seasons Sale-A-Bration Bundle by Stampin' Up!

The Painted Season Stamp set and designer series paper was created for all seasons so that you would have the versatility throughout the year.

For my first project, I decided to do quick and simple stamping. This card only has one stamped image with a little sponging. The beautiful DSP is the star of this card. Call Me Clover Cardstock coordinates perfectly with the greenery in the paper. 

The punch you are seeing is the upcoming Story Label Punch available on March 1st to customers. Anyone who is a demonstrator or joins during February can pre-order this punch and other coordinated products for Sale-A-Bration. I recently shared a post about these products. 

Okay, I just love designer series paper. I love to mix and match and allow the DSP to be the star of the show. If you've seen my posts, you know I love my DSP! For this project, I used the Painted Seasons Stamp set and then I used the coordinating Painted Seasons framelits (available March 1st or pre-order for demonstrators or anyone who joins). Grapefruit Grove and Balmy Blue are 2 great colors together.

If you look closely, you can see how much detail is on the flowers. These are the distinctive line of stamps where the images really look real by how much detail is added. These stamps create stunning flowers!

What a Wow Wednesday

Beauty Abounds + Butterflies

Hi Everyone,

Thanks so much for stopping by today. We are still have lots of snow out here in the Pacific Northwest, but that just means more stamping! Today I wanted to continue to share some wonderful projects using the products from the Stampin' Up! Occasions Catalog that runs through May. There are so many fantastic products and it seems not enough time to share them all. I have some great samples to share with you created by some wonderful stamping friends. 

This beautiful card was created by Vikki Beck. Vikki creates wonderful projects every time she participates in my swaps. This card was created using Highland Heather Cardstock and inks. She also paired a bit of Gorgeous Grape as well. Notice the embossed part of her card? That was created using the Big Shot Embossing Mats and Butterfly Beauty Thinlits Dies. The butterfly accents are also from the thinlits dies. 

This is a special fold card. Many call this the Z-Fold. I just love the colors that were chosen for this project. I also love the little surprise when you open up the card. 

This project was created by Donna Ross. I love the monochromatic theme of this card. Donna used Thick White Cardstock and the Layered Leaves Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. Donna also used the Layering Circles Framelits and the Butterfly Beauty Thinlits Dies as well for that gorgeous butterfly. A bit of Daffodil Delight Double Stitched Ribbon adds that extra touch.

There really is something special about the color choices being used for these projects. This project created by Lorrie Skinner focused on how well Highland Heather and Basic Black go together. The result is a striking project! She also paired the Gala Gingham DSP to this card.

What to Share Monday?

Freshly Made Sketch Challenge

HI Everyone,

Welcome to my Stamp Something Saturday post. It's that time again to be inspired by a sketch challenge. This time from Freshly Made Sketches #375 by Cecile. Here is what she has to say. "Hello everyone! Cécile here. I have a freshly made sketch for you and I hope you'll like it. Remember, the most important thing is to have fun, so don't let those triangles scare you, and feel free to use any shape instead. I just can't wait to see what you'll come up with"!

I was happy when she said that you  could use any shapes. I first tried to design with creating triangles, but it wasn't working out, so I switched to the Stitched Rectangle Framelits by Stampin' Up! and it turned out great.
