Finding Inspiration Friday
Sale-A-Bration Springtime Foil DSP

Hi Everyone,

Thanks for joining me today to share in my inspiration. I can't believe that Stampin' Up! Sale-A-Bration is ending in one more day! There are so many wonderful items to earn free too. I hope you have gotten all of yours from your wish list. One of the newer Sale-A-Bration items you can still earn is the Springtime Foil Designer Series Paper. This paper is gorgeous! There is silver and gold designs running through the glossy cardstock.

Springtime Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper
For my projects that I created for my stamping class, I wanted to show says to highlight the DSP with minimal stamping. I was really inspired by some projects I saw on Pinterest. I love the idea of coloring the paper using sponge daubers and sponge brayers

This project features Perfect Plum that has been covered with ink using the sponge brayer. Demonstrator Lisa Kmiec inspired this project.

This project was created using Daffodil Delight ink being applied with the Stamping Sponges. I wanted to give an Ombre look, so I used some Crushed Curry as well.  The Petal Palette Bundle was used as well, which is a fantastic bundle. It will qualify you for a free Sale-A-Bration item as well.

For my last project, I wanted to highlight the different designs in the DSP package. The floral pattern paper is wonderful. You can cut out the flowers and color them using Stampin' Blends for a beautiful look.

If you have not gotten your Springtime Foil DSP or other free Sale-A-Bration products, you have until 11:00 PST on March 31st to place a minimum $50.00 order. I am happy to help you with anything you may need.

Thanks for stopping in today to share my love of stamping. If you are in need of any products you can place an order online. I appreciate you choosing me as your demonstrator. Finding Inspiration Friday
Brusho Class

Hi Everyone,

I am so glad you chose to stop by today! I am sharing some wonderful techniques from a Brusho class I recently held. Brusho is a new product being offered by Stampin' Up! The product isn't new out on the market, but Stampin' Up! designed colors that coordinate so well with their color themes. I held a specialty class for guests to come and play with my Brusho pigment powders. We created many projects using different techniques that I'd like to share.

When you use the Brusho powders, you simply want to poke a hole in the lid of the container. Because the powder is so concentrated, you only need a little when working with it. For this wonderful medallion card, I used the medallion stencil from the Pattern Party Decorative Masks. I simply laid the mask on my Water Color paper. Then I sprinkled a little of the blue and yellow colors. Next, I spritzed over top with water and a stamping spritzer, and carefully lifted off the stencil to reveal this wonderful background. You can play around with lots of color combinations.

This technique is the same idea of the emboss resist technique. First I clear embossed the beautiful flower from the Remarkable You Stamp set. Then I carefully sprinkled color on the flower where I wanted the color. Next I spritzed the cardstock and the Brusho then begins to spread. To get more intense colors, I used a Aqua Painter to blend the color.

For this beautiful card, I used a clear block as my surface for the Brusho Powder. I sprinkled some powder onto the clear block and then used an Aqua Painter to water color this flower from the  Beautiful Day Stamp set found in the current Occasions catalog. I used Wink of Stella to give the flower so much sparkle. The leaves came out of the Flourish Thinlits.

The last technique shared in the Brusho class was the direct to stamp technique (this will stain the wood of your stamps if you have a wood mount stamp). For this cute  3 x 3 card, I used another flower from the Remarkable You stamp set. I sprinkled a bit of blue and then green onto the rubber of my stamp. Then I spritzed a few times with water and then stamped my image. I love this technique because you get so many different color variations every time. The thicker the image, the better the outcome.

If you are interested to see more on Brusho, click the video.

I hope you enjoyed the projects I've shared today. This was a great class. Brusho costs $30.00 in the Occasions Catalog, so this was a good opportunity for stampers to try Brusho out before committing to a purchase.

Wonderful Wednesday
Stamp of the Month

Hi Everyone,

Thanks for stopping in today. I'm taking a chance today to focus on my next Stamp of the Month stamp set for April. Hanging Garden is found in the Occasions Catalog and it is so much fun! It is perfect for coloring the basket of flowers with Stampin' Blends, markers, and pencils. Another reason I like this set if for the sayings included in the set. I can use this set for many occasions.

Black and White is always stunning together. I CASED this
card from Mary Fish

Crumb Cake and black were used for this
card and then Vanilla for the basket. I love
using the Stitched Shapes and Layering Circles
together

This project is all about spring. One of my
favorite colors is Wild Wasabi
For the Stamp of the Month promotion that I do, participants pre-register for $28 to receive the stamp set and 3 projects using their stamp set. All supplies are included and I have an in person workshop or a "To Go" option. Learn more about Stamp of the Month is featured on my blog.

Memories & More Mondays
 Sale-A-Bration and Memories

Hi Everyone,

Welcome to the beginning of the work week. Thanks for stopping in. Today I wanted to share about my love of the Memories & More Card kits offered by Stampin' Up! I have blogged about this before, but I can't even tell you how much I love the  Sweet Soiree Memories & More Card pack that is in the Sale-A-Bration catalog to earn for free! This set is so beautiful and can be used for memory keeping and card making. That's what makes the Memories & More cards so fantastic!

Here you can see how they are used in memory keeping. I like the different sizes that are included because they fit the different sized pockets in the memory keeping system. The cards have wonderful colors and sayings with floral and pattern designs to fit lots of occasions.

I have been an avid card maker for years. I could never quite get the hand of memory keeping until Stampin' Up! came out with Project Life with Becky Higgins. I became hooked at the ease of memory keeping with the pocket pages and memory card packs. I no longer had to have tons of supplies out and design a blank 12 x 12 piece of cardstock. I love that these cards serve two purposes card making and memory keeping. What's great about the Sweet Soiree card pack is that it is free to you with a minimum $50 order.

Here is a nice video that share all about the Memories & More Card Packs that Stampin' Up! offers.

There is so much reminiscing when you go through your photos looking for those special times to put into your memory books.

There are so many wonderful Sale-A-Bration free items to choose from that continue to be available through the rest of March. Brand new items have been added as well of current catalog items for free.

Today I wanted to focus on the Amazing You Sale-A-Bration Stamp set and the Celebrate You Thinlit Dies. The dies are so much fun to use, and you can use them in so many ways. On my project above, I used the new Brusho Crystal Colors and the Celebrate Thinlit for the main part of the card.

Wonderful Wednesday
Weekly Stamp Class

Hi Everyone,

Welcome to my Wonderful Wednesday blog today. Every Wednesday I share projects that I am sharing at my weekly stamp class. At class, I focus on a particular stamp set, paper, or coloring tools and accessories. This week, I wanted to highlight the Rose Wonder Stamp set and the Rose Garden Thinlits set. One of the things I love about this stamp set is the variety of ways you can color the images in the stamp set.

One of the most popular ways to use the Rose Garden Thinlits is to highlight it as the focal point of the card. I used the Petal Burst Embossing folder and the Happy Birthday stamp from the stamp set. Daffodil Delight makes this birthday card happy. The splatter is a stamp out of the Touches of Texture Stamp set. I love that splatter stamp!

When using Stampin' Blends, use the
Memento Ink Pad. Shimmery White CS
works really well with Blends

One thing I'm really liking is creating my own background for my card. This card was so fun to make. I used the leaves and flower from the Rose Wonder Stamp set and then used the most wonderful Stampin' Blends by Stampin' Up. The cardstock colors for this project are Rich Razzleberry and Lemon Lime Twist. I used the Daffodil Delight and Old Olive Stampin' Blends to get the shade of Lemon Lime Twist for the leaves. It worked out great! Can you see the Rhinestones in the center of the flowers?

Be sure to use the Archival Black ink before you
water color. I would suggest Shimmery White CS or
water color paper when you use Aqua Painters

The large rose in the stamp set is beautiful! I used Rose Red for my card base and for water coloring the flower. Old Olive is the color for the leaves. I used Aqua Painters and the stamp pads to water color for this project. A little accent of Washi Tape and Wink of Stella and this card is a Wow!

Today's class projects are great. We focus on one stamp set, but color using two different techniques. It's important to use different coloring techniques because you learn which stamp pads and paper will work best for your coloring choice.

Thanks so much for stopping in today. I hope it inspires you to do some stamping of your own. Share and leave a comment. I'd love to chat.

Memories & More
Mondays

Hi Everyone,

Welcome to another Memories & More Mondays where I share a bit about my love for memory keeping and stamping. Today my project takes me way back to when my youngest daughter was just a little one. She is now 17, so this is so retro.

This Memories & More card pack is wonderful! It coordinates
with the Color Theory Suite of products. It's perfect for
the four seasons. There are 52 printed cards perfect for stamping
and memory keeping

From the Memories & More pack, I used the summer cards. There are perfect cards and stickers to add so much fun to your layout.

Add caption
What I love best about my pages today is that I had both pages done is less than 30 minutes! Once I decided on which cards I wanted to use, the rest was super easy. I simply slipped cards into pockets and mounted my pictures onto the 4" x 6" cards. I added a little journal writing and done. Super quick and super easy.

Thanks for stopping by today. If you have any questions about Memories & More products, or any other stamping questions, don't hesitate to contact me.

Welcome to Blogging Friends

Hi Everyone,

Welcome to this month's Blogging Friends Blog Hop. It is an exciting hop this month because we get to share all about Sale-A-Bration. What could be more fun than to see many demonstrators sharing projects featuring the free products you can earn with a minimum purchase!

My sharing today features the free stamp set called Lots of Lavender. What I like about this stamp set is that it can be used for many occasions. Simply add your sentiment and it's perfect.

This first project uses Fresh Fig Cardstock and Ink.
I like the water color look of the flowers in this set.
For my next projects, I used the new Narrow Note Cards and Envelopes to create a couple of cute cards. I absolutely love the Petal Passion DSP, so of course I used that as well.

The Narrow Note Cards & Envelopes are perfect for a quick
hello and thank you. Use a 2 1/2" circle punch to create
that pop of DSP for the envelope flap

I used Marina Mist for the flowers

I used Rich Razzleberry for the flowers
There are so many wonderful choices of free Sale-A-Bration products. Stampin' Up! has also released 3 more Sale-A-Bration products to add to your must have list.

I hope you enjoy your visit to all the wonderful blogs. Be sure to comment and share.
