Simple yet Stunning Sunday with Embossing Folders

Hi Everyone,
It's Simple yet Stunning Sunday and I'm so happy with my card today. It is so beautiful because of the wonderful embossing folders by Stampin' Up!

The Wintery 3D Embossing Folder set includes 2 folders. There is this beautiful snowflakes folder and a pine branches folder. I really like these double set embossing folders. There are so many ways to use them. I used the Stampin' Blending Brushes to sponge the Balmy Blue ink over some of the embossed snowflakes.

Have you seen the Wonderful Snowflakes in the July-December 2021 Mini Catalog? They are so stunning! They are shimmery on one side and flat on the other. Great for sponging.

The sentiments are from the Heartfelt Wishes Stamp set. I like how there are sentiments for the outside and inside of your card. This makes it really easy to create your project.

Thanks for stopping in today. Leave a comment and let me know what you have been stamping and creating. I'd love to chat.

12 Fridays of Fall Projects Week 6 with Welcoming Woods Set

Hi Everyone,
Welcome to Week 6 of my 12 Fridays of Fall Projects. I am so happy with my card today. The Welcoming Woods Stamp sets is one of my favorites. You can find it in the July-December 2021 Mini Catalog by Stampin' Up! It is a great set for many occasions.

For my card, I used Shimmery White. I like the texture it gives to the blended look. I used a 4" x 4 1/4" piece of Basic Black Cardstock and a 4" x 3 3/4" of Shimmery White. Stampin' Up! Blending Brushes are so nice. They glide over your paper so nicely and its easy to blend the colors.

Don't forget that the inside of your card should be as special as the outside of your card. I like adding a layer on the inside of the card. It balances the weight better between the front and inside. Check out my video for more details.

Create Endless Cards with Kit Together Bundle by Stampin' Up!

Hi Everyone,
It's a wonderful time to think about your holiday card needs. Today I've created using the Knit Sweater Dies which is part of the Knit Together Bundle by Stampin' Up! There are so many different ways you can put these dies together. You will have endless fun!

I love that you don't have to use the dies to create a "sweater" pattern. That's the first thing you want to do, but you can use the decorative dies in lots of ways. For this card, I simpply used the poinsettia die for a border with the zigzag.

Okay, I had so much fun with this card! I went over the top on this one. I love how the shapes pop out when you die cut the strips. You can use these for shaker cards or accents on your card. I used the Word Wishes for the sentiment. It's just perfect!

It was so much fun creating with the Knit Sweater Dies. I plan on creating more and sharing soon.

Let me know which card you like best today. I'd love to hear from you.

Week 5 of 12 Fridays of Fall + Sketch Challenge with Giveaway

Hi Everyone,
I'm so glad you stopped in on this beautiful fall day (well maybe for you). We are blustery and rainy here in the PNW, but I really like it. We have needed the rain like so many other places, so it's nice to get some.

The card I created today is a simply layout, but is so beautiful! The Blackberry Beauty Specialty 12" x 12" DSP is just stunning. My project last week also featured the Blackberry Beauty Suite of products. I think it's just so beautiful!

My card details include Blackberry Bliss 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", Cinnamon Cider cut at 3 1/4" x 5 1/2", DSP 3" x 5 1/2" and inside I used Cinnamon Cider cut at 3 1/4" x 5 1/4". You can use the same dimension as the front piece as well.

I created another variation of the card simply changing which piece of DSP I used and adding the beautiful Gold 3/8" Shimmer Ribbon. I used the ribbon on this card to break up the DSP from the sentiment circles. It is a busy pattern and needs that.

I hope you enjoyed week 5 of my 12 Fridays of Fall Projects. Leave a comment and let me know.
