Eden's Garden Sneak Peek Stampin' Sunday

Hi Everyone,

Happy Sunday and Happy Halloween! It's hard to believe that October is coming to a close and November is here tomorrow. It's a great day on November 2nd. Keep reading to find out.

Beginning on Tuesday, Stampin' Up! will release the Eden Garden Suite of Products. This means that you can order any or all of the products before they are sold out. Today, my card focuses on the fabulous Ever Eden's 12" x 12" Specialy Desinger Paper. I've created this Z-fold card that is stunning!

For my card, I cust a base piece at 5 1/2" x 4 1/4". Then the DSP is cut at 5 1/4" x 12". I then scored at 8" and 4". The Eve's Garden DSP is very beautiful with all the metallic gold running through on side of the papers.

One of the things I really love about Stampin' Up! stamps is how much they do the work for you. The flower piece is already etched to give soft and darker parts. It's so nice!

I hope you liked my card today. Be sure to follow me for more fun stamping.

Be sure to check out all the new Eden's Garden products on Tuesday.

Happy Stampin',

Peaceful Christmas Paper Pumpkin Alternatives

Hi Everyone,
Happy Sunday stamping! Today I'm sharing my alternative Paper Pumpkin projects from the October Peaceful Christmas kit. This is such a beautiful kit too! It was designed with the Peaceful Christmas Suite of products in the July-December 2021 Mini Catalog.

In this Paper Pumpkin kit, you have 2 card designs to create 10 cards, which include 5 each of the 2 designs. This stunning card mimics one of the sheets from the Peaceful Place 12" x 12" Specialty Designer Series Paper. It is so beautiful!

This is the other designed card from the kit. I love the plaid layering pieces. For this card, I wanted to lighten up the card a little, so I simply trimmed 1/2" from the front of the base of the card and off-set the plaid layer. Next, I have 3 alternative projects I created using this kit.

For this card, I'm using a Thick Basic White base and then plaid layering piece. I then took the "snowy trees" card base and cut it to 3 1/2". Then I cut 1" strips. I love this look!

The "snowy trees" base of the card is designed on the front and back of the card, so you end up with 2 panels if you cut it. I designed this card with the other half of the base. I then deconstructed the envelope and used the strip of the silver foils trees and the plaid envelope liner for a strip down the card. The "Noel" is one of the silver die cut words in the kit.

For my last project, I pulled in the Peaceful Place 12" x 12" Specialty DSP some of the components from the kit. I really like the plaid circle and the cabins on the DSP. It screams country coziness!

12 Fridays of Fall Projects-Week 10 with Sparkle of the Season Bundle

Hi Everyone,
Well it is finally the windy and rainy fall that I've been waiting for in the Pacific Northwest! We are in a very blustery time in this late October. I feel like my Friday post today is just perfect for the weather.

First of all, you can understand why the Blackberry Beauty Specialty Designer Series paper keeps going on backorder. It is stunning! Remember that you can still order any backordered products now and you are guaranteed to have it ship out as soon as the product is back in stock. I always do this because when a product is turned to unorderable, you may have to wait an extended period of time before you can even order it again. Enough babbling, time to share.

I'm used the Sparkle of the Season Bundle for my week 10 of Fall Projects. I really like that you have three different wreath dies that you can use for several seasons and holidays. You can layer them as well to create an even fuller wreath. I also love all the other dies like these leaves. The die cuts 2 leaves at once and the sizes vary. I love this!

When I originally designed my project, I planed on using the matte side of the Blackberry Beauty Specialty DSP. I created this to show how your card takes on a diffent feel or tone depending on what paper you use.

I hope you liked my project today. Let me know which card you prefer. For me, I think I really like the one with the "Grateful" sentiment. I love the metallic DSP. Thanks again for stopping in.You can watch my video for more details.

Don't miss out on this last week of my Textures & Frames Promotion. There are a few kits left and I have many of the Glitter Star Ornament Embellishments to give as "Thank You" gifts for shopping with me in October. Don't forget that you earn Loyalty Bucks for every $25 you spend with me.

Create 4 Fantastic Cards Using the Love Santa Tag Kit

Hi Everyone,

I'm so excited to do my post today. I got my Love, Santa Tag kit just yesterday and I had to see what I could do other than the tags. The tags are wonderful too, but I like to do cards and tags together.

The Love, Santa Tag kit includes everything you need to create 12 fabulous large tags. You can purchase the Tag Kit, but there is also the Collection which includes the Love, Santa Tag kit + the 12 wonderful treat bags too.

Okay now back to the fabulous cards. I took the colors that are included in this kit and found DSP and cardstocks that coordinate with the kit colors.

This card features the Tidings of Christmas 6" x 6" DSP. I love how the stripes in the paper and the Evening Evergreen stamped pine branches make such a rich and bold statement.

I have to say that I am becoming a big fan of the non traditional holiday colors! The Whimsy and Wonder 12" x 12" Specialty DSP has won me over. This DSP is so stunning and is perfect with this car!

I do love this Santa! I used the Whimsy and Wonder DSP for this card as well. It is perfect for the Night of Navy Card base.

Just Jade and Poppy Parade are 2 great colors together. I used the Wintery 3-D Embossing Folder to get that great pine texture.

I think the tree was the perfect piece to use on this Z-Fold card. Now all that is left is to choose your favorite sentiments to add to the inside of the cards. I have a couple of favorites I would suggest.

Christmas to Remember Stamp set #156300

Encircled in Warmth #156449

Holly Jolly Wishes #156362

Any of these 3 holiday sets are perfect addtions to the Love, Santa Tag Kit. If you want to see close up details on my projects today, you can see my Sunday Video.

Let me know which card you really liked today. I think my favorite is the one with the car. Thanks for stoping in and I hope you come back another day to connect with me. Remember that I have a great October promotion happening too, so don't miss out on FREE products. Also, are you part of the Stampin' Café group on Facebook? This is where I do fun social stamping with stamping friends. Right now I've asked what your favorite Stampin' Up! color is. Come and join in the stampin' fun.

12 Fridays of Fall Projects Week 8 with Blackberry Beauty Suite

Hi Everyone,
Well it's another wonderful Friday and it's week 8 of my 12 Fridays of Fall Projects. Today is a real winner of fall cards! The richness of the beautiful colors makes this just stunning!

I'm using the beautiful Blackberry Beauty Specialty Designer Series paper and the Ephemera Pack for this stunning card. If you can see, I layered a bit of the beautiful Gold Shimmer Vellum which is part of this suite of products.

Let's talk about that fantastic owl! I am such a bird person and I love owls most of all. I love them so much that I have a tattoo of a little owl on my arm (I know, obsessed).

I used the Ornate Thanks Stamp set for the bold "Thanks" on the front of the card and this sentiment for the inside. I used one of the gold pieces from the Ephemera Package to give the inside a little shine too.

Here are the details for this card:
  • Base is cut at 4 1/4" x 11" scored at 5 1/2"
  • Gold Shimmer Vellum is cut at 4" x 4"
  • Blackberry layer piece is cut at 3 7/8" x 3 7/8"
  • Blackberry Beauty DSP cut at 1 3/4" x 1 3/4"
  • Cinnamon Cider for inside of card cut at 4" x 5 1/4"

I hope you enjoyed my project today. What are you working on in your crafting space? I know it's time to get my Halloween cards mailed to my family and friends too.

I also wanted to remind you about the promotion I have going this month. There are still a few Textures & Frames project kits availalble FREE.

Thanks again for stopping in. I hope you are inspired to create your own fall projects.

Create a Beautiful Explosion Card with Nature's Harvest (12 Fridays of Fall week 7)

Hi Everyone,

Well it's hard to believe that another Week has passed. It's time for my week 7 of the 12 Fridays of Fall projects. I just love my explosion card today!

Today's card is a Gate Fold card. This means you take a 5 1/2" x 8" base and score at 2 1/8" at each end. These ends fold into the center of the base to make a "gate". I used the Harvest Meadow 12" x 12" DSP and Nature's Harvest Stamp set. These are so awesome! I also cut 2 pieces for the DSP cut at 5 1/4" x 2" for the front panels.

I added a bit of splatter using the Bumblebee Stampin' Write Marker and the lid to flick the ink onto the card. You can see this in my video below.

When you create the explosion card, you will need to use a "belly band" to keep the card closed. I used another piece of the Harvest Meadow DSP cut at 1 1/2" x 9". The Cinnamon Cider piece is cut at 2 3/4" x 4 1/4". The Very Vanilla is cut at 2 1/2" x 4".

Now the fun begins! The inside DSP is cut at 4" x 8". Then scored at 2", 4", 6". Then you score from each opposite corner of the DSP to the center 4" score edge. You might want to watch the video below for visuals.

The inside "Thank you" pieces are cut: Very Vanilla is 2 1/2" x 2 1/2" and the Cinnamon Cider is cut at 2 3/4" x 2 3/4".

I hope you enjoyed my project today. I was inspired by fellow demonstrator, Julie Davidson. She created an explosion card using the Sweet as a Peach bundle.

Thanks for stopping in today. It's so great to connect, so leave me a comment. I might just suprise you with a little giveaway. Let me know what you are crafting with.
