A Spooky Day
With Treats

Hi Everyone,

First of all, Happy Halloween. I just love today! It is my favorite time of year and it tops off with trick or treats tonight. My daughter helped me prepare treats for my coworkers. I work at an elementary school as well as the district offices, so I have lots of treats I need to make. What is so cool is that making 50 treat tubes and over 40 treat bags, it only took about 1 1/2 hours. Thank goodness for Designer series paper and punches!

A simple 3 1/4" X 6 " made this cute wrap for the candy bag.
I just punched out a spooky cat and my saying with the Label
Me Pretty punch. Super cute!

What a quick and cute treat! M & M candies fit perfectly. Just
add a cute punched out tag and YUM!

Here are my 50 test tube treats for at the school today. These
orange baskets are perfect.
How much fun was that? Just a little effort will make someone's day, so be sure to treat someone today. I hope your Halloween is a fun day.

If you have visited my blogs the past several Mondays, you have seen the set samplers I've shared and will continue to share on Mondays. Be sure to comment and share my blog. I love to chat. The first card above was created by Susan Schultz. She used the Spooky Night DSP as her focal point.

This fun and bright project was created by
Kathya Hidalgo. She used the Seasonal Chums
Stamp set

Sandy Haynes showcased the Spooky Night DSP
with this fun project.

Okay, How much fun is this card? I love it. Sherri Price
sent in this card.

Cathy Bartlett created this fun card using the Labels to Love
Stamp set

These cards are so much fun! They will be perfect to share with friends tomorrow. Also, many of the cards highlighted the Labels to Love Stamp set. This is a great all seasons set that can be used for so many different occasions.

Stampin' Blends
by Stampin' Up!

Hi Everyone,

It's so exciting to know that the new Stampin' Blends will be release in just 5 days to the world! I just used the Blends in my weekly stamping class and wanted to share our projects. What I love about the Stampin' Blends is that they color so smoothly on cardstock and blending is a snap.

I love the font of the Thank You stamp

These birds are a perfect pair. Stamp them together or
apart. There is a lot of choices.

2 little lanterns make this project so fun. Add a little sequins
and it's perfect

The Color Me Happy stamp set is fantastic. The Color Me Happy Coordinating kit is even more fantastic! There are 16 project, 4 of each and they are so cute. I know that 5 days away seems like forever, but count down to must have.

There are 26 Stampin’ Blends + 1 Color lifter to make your coloring come to life on your stamping projects. These fantastic alcohol markers are so wonderful to use. They glide over your paper and blend so nicely. To purchase the complete set with shipping and tax costs $145.00. That doesn’t even allow you to earn hostess benefits because a minimum party is $150.00 before shipping and tax.

Do I have a fantastic club for you!

One Sheet Wonder
6 x 6 Designer Series Paper

Hi Everyone,

Well my recent Weekly Wednesday Class was a lot of fun! I decided to do a 6 x 6 piece of Designer Series Paper, DSP, to do a "One Sheet Wonder" class. Doing the smaller size allowed me to keep the class to just 2 hours. If I tried to do the 12 x 12 DSP One Sheet Wonder, it can take many hours because you make up to 12 projects. My projects you see above were inspired my Demonstrator Megan Daves. She had a 6 x 6 One Sheet Wonder, and I decided to C.A.S.E hers. The small 3 x 3 in my projects was an extra project because the small piece of DSP was considered a scrap.

This was Megan's sample of her projects from a couple of years
ago. I really liked her 6 x 6 DSP idea and decided to C.A.S.E.

I really liked Megan's layouts from this a couple of years ago. For my class, I decided to use the Birthday Blooms stamp set and Tranquil Tide as my color story.

For this class, I used the Fresh Florals DSP stack. I used the Tranquil Tide sheets and allowed my customers to choose whichever design they liked best. Then for added texture, I used the Layered Leaves Dynamic Impressions Embossing Folder. Silver Glimmer Paper, 3/8" Metallic Edge Silver Ribbon, and the 1/8" Silver Ribbon made these cards very elegant.

I really love that Stampin' Up! came out with Thick Whisper White Cardstock. White is the perfect base for these two samples, but you need that heavy cardstock to have the card feel sturdy. I used the Layering Ovals Framelit Dies for these as well as the other projects. The Metal Rimmed Pearls and Rhinestones add that perfect touch.

This is the cute 3 x 3 card I added to class to use up the little strip that is considered scrap in the 6 x 6 template. This made the cutest little Happy Birthday.

I hope you like the cards I created based on Megan's template. I have the template for you too, so you can create your own projects using the colors and stamp sets that you like. Comment and share if you like. I love to chat with other crafters.

If you really liked this, you might like to sign up for my Stamp of the Month Oh What Fun for November. I am planning to do a "One Sheet Wonder" class using the stamp set and a 12 x 12 Sheet of DSP. Here is a preview of the fun Stamp of the Month.

Wonderful projects created by Chick-n-Scratch

Painted Harvest Perfection

Hi Everyone,

I was walking through the garden at the school I work part-time at and was amazed by the sunflowers still standing tall. It is amazing at how many different types of sunflowers there are too. The Painted Harvest Bundle in the Holiday Catalog by Stampin' Up! is more than fantastic! The texture and dimension that you get when you use this 2-step stamping system is wonderful! Put it all together with the Painted Autumn DSP and you have WOW! projects. Today I am sharing some projects from other demonstrators that joined together in a swap. You might host your own swap with some friends too. It's great to get other ideas from stampers. I hope you enjoy the projects. Be sure to comment and share. I love to chat.
Dawn Woodard created this project. The color
choices are great.

There is a richness to Lori Jane's card. She
used the coordinating leaf punch too.

I am very partial to this project by Lori Jane. I love
Chocolate Chip and Soft Sky together.

Kathy Maurer created this wonderful project with a water
color wash.

I have to say that I understand why this bundle is so popular. Every project is wonderful and you can combine so many color combinations to create fantastic and realistic flowers. The Painted Autumn DSP is part of the October DSP Sale, so it's a perfect opportunity to participate.

I have one more project to share for those tricks and treats. I use the DSP to help me create quick and cute treats for the people I work with. I work for the school district, so I have lots to make.

Benita Givens created this great treat
bag using DSP

Roxie Weaver used the SpookyNight DSP to create this fun
pencil holder.

I love the pencil holder idea. I'm going to make it a bit wider so I can put a candy bar in it for fellow teachers. How Fun! Well I hope you are inspired to create wonderful projects as the weather continues to turn into fall.

Stamp of the Month

Inspired by Chic-n-scratch
Hi Everyone,

It's time to get that inspiration for the holiday with the Oh What Fun Stamp of the Month. This is such a fun stamp of the month special holiday projects. With just 1 sheet of Designer Series Paper and your stamp set, we will create 6 fun projects with several gift giving packages. I am CASing Chic-n-Scratch's class from a couple of years ago. I just love all of the wonderful sayings for cards, tags, and more in the Oh What Fun stamp set.

To participate in the Stamp of the Month, you will need to contact me at lennyandmary1@msn.com to reserve your space by November 5th. I will send a PayPal invoice, or make arrangements for another method of payment.

The in-class workshop to complete these fun projects is on Sunday, November 12th. If you are not local or able to attend the in-class workshop, that's fine. I will package all of your supplies, stamp set, and a PDF tutorial on how to complete each project.

I hope that your holiday spirit is making it's way to you and your home. This would be the perfect way to kick start your holidays.

Here are some other fun projects to do with your stamp set

What a fantastic set for the holidays
I know that this is such a fun stamp set and can't wait to have this Stamp of the Month class. More details can be found by clicking Stamp of the Month along the top banner across my blog or any highlighted words.

With such a fun class being prepared, it's the perfect time to take advantage of the Designer Series Paper Sale.

There are still time to take advantage of the October Designer Series Paper sale. DSP is my favorite product that Stampin' Up! sells. It's amazing to learn that the artists will hand draw and paint many of the DSP before it's put into print. There are some talented artists for sure.

Finding Inspiration Friday
2 Cute Cards

Hi Everyone,

Today, I wanted to take a minute and share with you an easy way to create cards and be inspired. I was so inspired by the Real Red holiday card I made. I had done this for a Saturday Stamper group. This card is a bit Stepped up, so when I had a home party to prep for, I really liked this card, but I wanted the novice stamper to have a more simple project, but still be a Wow!

The Holly Textured Embossing folder and Stitched Felt Elements
make this card a real WOW!

This card is WOW as well, but easier for a novice stamper.
For my card that I created for the home party, there is just one stamp to stamp from the Christmas Pines Stamp set. The Merry Music DSP is my all time favorite! There are 24 sheets of wonderful sheet music in white and black sheets. Using the DSP is so easy for new stampers. It adds great texture without needing a Big Shot. I did have my sample of the red card at the home party and the next person to host would be able to have a class where we use the Big Shot for the next project. Added WOW products were the black rhinestones and the Quilted Christmas 1/4" Ribbon.

I had so much fun creating the musical card. It really inspires me to create more projects using the Merry Music DSP. I hope I have inspired you to take a look at a layout you like and switch out the colors and embellishments. It's amazing how different the projects look.

There are still a couple of weeks to take advantage of the October Designer Series Paper sale. DSP is my favorite product that Stampin' Up! sells. It's amazing to learn that the artists will hand draw and paint many of the DSP before it's put into print. There are some talented artists for sure.

I hope you enjoyed my project today. Share and comment because I'd love to chat.

Wickedly Fun Wednesday
Season to Sparkle

Hi Everyone,

It is such a fun day today to talk about the upcoming wicked time of Halloween. It's one of my favorite times of year. The Season to Sparkle Bundle is so perfect for that creepy haunted house, but also perfect for Christmas and don't forget Valentines. I love when Stampin' Up! designs sets that can be used for many occasions. Today is all about the boo, so I have a couple of wickedly fun cards to share.

These 2 cards I received from a swap are so great! I can't tell you how much I love them both. The black and white is so bold and the silver foil sheet is fantastic on the orange card.

Cathy Bartlett created this stunning black and white
Halloween card.

I'd love to give credit, but I don't know who made this card.
I just love the oval silver foil sheet.

The inside is very cute on this project too.
I hope you have enjoyed these projects as much as I have. I can't wait to send off my Halloween cards to friends and families. I also have some treat bags to fill for people I work with. Comment and share because I love to chat.

If you are in need of any products or want to place an order be sure to use my October Hostess Code #CDDRQGYB for your chance to win hostess rewards. A minimum $25.00 qualifies you. Please do not mark "No Contact" when you order. I won't be able to contact you if you win the October Hostess.

Pick A Pumpkin Bundle
Stampin' Up!

Hi Everyone,

Well out here in the Pacific Northwest, the fall has arrived with a wet and windy time. It looks like later this week we are expecting our first fall wind and rain storm. This could mean we lose power, but I won't worry about that yet.

Today I wanted to share some card samples with you using the Pick a Pumpkin Bundle in the Holiday Catalog by Stampin' Up! The card above was created by my friend, Jessica, when we had a shoe-box swap. This is a fun time with friends to get together and create cards that we each designed. I hope you like the samples I am showing. Be sure to share this blog and follow too. I try and share lots of creative stamping projects.

Lisa Schultz created this fun fall project.

I love the color choices in this project by Marilyn
Rickard. The Pumpkin Thinlet  is so cute!

This cozy card was created by Sarah Groven. I love the dimension
with the cable knit embossing folder and all the cut outs.

Sarah also created this wonderful Holiday Card
using the Pattern Pumpkin Thinlits

I just love all the dies for this Pick a Pumpkin stamp set! The stamps are wonderful, but when you use the die to cut out the elements and add to a project, it takes it to WOW! I really like the holiday card and the Winter Wonder Embossing Folder. I wouldn't have thought to use the thinlits for anything but fall. That's what is so nice and doing a swap with other stampers. It helps your own creativity.

The Designer Series Paper used in the first two projects are part of the October Designer Series Paper sale.

Through the end of the month, you can stock up and save on some of the most popular Designer Series Paper. I was so excited for this because I do up treats for everyone at the school I work at. This year I have more to make since I'm split between two locations. Designer Series Paper (DSP) really makes quick work of a cute treat bag. Here is one that I'm going to CASE (copy and share) for my Halloween treats.

Stamping friend Deborah Babcock created this super cute treat bag. It is so cute using a small piece of Spooky Night DSP. I am going to use this idea to create the bunch I will be making up for school.

I hope today has inspired you to work on some fall projects. The Pick a Pumpkin Bundle is perfect. I really like how the stamp set and thinlits coordinate together, but can also be used alone to create some fantastic things.
