Stampin' Up! Ribbon of Courage Bundle
Yes Please!

Hi Everyone,

I wanted to take special time today to highlight something very dear to me. The need to fill peoples' hearts with support and love when they are in need due to the battle with cancer. I recently just lost a coworker and friend Kyle Nielsen to cancer. I am so glad that Independent Demonstrator, Patti Bennett designed the Ribbon of Courage stamp set when she reached $1,000,000 in career sales. I know Patti also has personal reasons for designing this wonderful set too. This bundle is a very inspirational set that can be used to lift up anyone going through hard times. I especially like the Support Ribbon Framelits.

I hope you enjoy the projects I'm sharing today. They were created by other wonderful demonstrators who participated in a bundle swap with me. Comment and share. I love to chat.

Lori Jane Mittlestadt created this inspirational project. The
hearts in this set are beautiful and can extend into other
occasions too.

Jackie Rosemond created this project. The sentiment is so
iconic and inspiring.

This project by Susan Carlson highlights the Ribbon Framelits.

Vikki Beck incorporated the set and framelits
so well with this project. Her color combo
is fantastic.
As you can see, this bundle has so many possibilities. If you haven't seen the set, it can be found on page 96 of the Annual Catalog. I really like the sentiments of this set and hope you are inspired to lift of a friend or family member needing support.

Stampin' Up! Lovely Inside & Out Bundle
Yes Please!

Hi Everyone,

Well if you want a pop of fun, the Lovely Inside & Out Bundle is just for you. The possibilities with this bundle are endless. The main focus of this bundle is the coordinating Lovey Words Thinlit dies. These sayings are wonderful and add WOW to your projects. The other thing I really like are the stamps that can transform into all sorts of things like flowers, rain, and background textures. I wanted to share some projects with you that are from some wonderful demonstrators who participated in a bundle swap with me. Comment and share. I love to chat.

Micki Swwell created this great project. Notice how her
layers lined up perfectly with the background pattern.

I love the pop of Lemon Lime Twist and Melon Mambo
created by Candice Fields. Friend stands out perfectly.

Here is a great color combo with Lemon Lime Twist and
Soft sky by Dee Slater. I like how Dee cut the hugs from
its frame to give another look.

I created this card featuring the Lovely Words Thinlits. It really
stands out from the Delightful Daisy DSP.

Well as you can see, this bundle is so fun. I love how some projects are bold and others are soft. I think I want to use this set to see how I can incorporate into fall and the holidays too.

Stampin' Up! Daisy Delight Bundle
Yes Please!

Hi Everyone,

There is nothing I like better than my wonderful Shasta Daisies out in my perennial garden. They grow so tall and are perfectly symmetrical. I wanted to highlight the fantastic Daisy Delight Bundle. This stamp set and punch make the most wonderful daisies. There is a coordinating designer series paper called Delightful Daisy.

Combine these together for some WOW! I hope you enjoy the samples I'm sharing today. They were created by some wonderful demonstrators who joined in a swap together. Comment and share if you like what you see. I love to connect with you.

Lisa Schultz created this wonderful project.
She highlighted the coordinating DSP.

Gidget Joyal had fun with this pop of color.
I really like the 3 colors to make the daisy.

Wanda Dodds got really creative with
this project. The different perspectives
of the daisies are great!

One of my favorite looks is monochromatic
projects. Using the same color to make a
stunning project, Dorene Decibus created
this stunning card. The texture of the daisy
stamp is great.
Well this bundle is so perfect! As you see there are so many ways to combine colors and textures. There are so many ways to get creative. The Daisy Delight bundle can be found on page 127 in the Annual Catalog. Remember that when you purchase a bundle, there is a 10% discount. That's a win/win.

Finding Inspiration Friday
Retiform Technique

Hi Everyone,

Well I wasn't sure if I would get this blog posted today. My blog site that I used was having trouble today posting pictures, so I couldn't get it finished until now. I surely have been inspired by the Retiform technique that is taking Pinterest by storm. I had stamping class on Wednesday, and these are my projects.

I was inspired by a card that Randi Collins posted
on Pinterest. What I liked was the monochromatic theme
of the card. I combined So Many Shells and High Tide
for my project. I choose Island Indigo for my color.

This project was inspired by Cherie Criswell. I used Always
Artichoke, Crushed Curry, and Calypso Coral inks. These
three are a great combination. I also used Butterfly Basics
stamp set.
Our final project during class was this one using Real Read
and Smoky Slate. I used the new Musical Seasons
stamp set that is coming out in the new holiday catalog.
This technique is super easy and you can't do it wrong. All you need is a piece of printing paper or thin paper to use as a border and a sponge. It's important to use a thin paper because when you stamp an image, it will stamp right up to the line. Often, when you use a piece of card stock, you get a gap.

There are just a couple more weeks before the new Holiday Catalog makes it's debut. If you would like to get a copy, I'd be happy to send one out to you. Simply ask.

If you are in need of any products or want to place an order be sure to use my August Hostess Code #XBNNK7CN for your chance to win hostess rewards. A minimum $25.00 qualifies you. Please do not mark "No Contact" when you order. I won't be able to contact you if you win the August Hostess.

Blogging Friends
My Favorite Things

Hi Everyone,

Welcome to a warm and sunny Blogging Friends Blog Hop. We have been dry here in the Northwest for 41 days. Our record is 51 days. When people say it rains all the time in Seattle, Washington, they haven't experienced our summers. Anyway, welcome to our hop that shares our favorite Stampin' Up! products. It could be colors, stamp sets, and/or accessories. I hope you enjoy your time with us today.

One of my favorite things is to have a fun Stamp of the Month where friends can get together and focus on one stamp set and create many different projects with the featured set. In August, I am having the So Many Shells stamp set as the Stamp of the Month. I love the beauty of the 2-step shells in this set. It makes them so realistic. There are so many wonderful sayings as well. They are inspirational and that's perfect with this set.

I wanted to share the featured cards that will be part of the Stamp of the Month in August. If you are interested in taking part, simply click on the Stamp of the Month at the top of my blog for more details. I hope you enjoy this stamp set as much as I do.

These are the 3 projects I created for August Stamp of
the Month.

I was inspired by Randi Collins and the Retiform
Technique that has become very popular. This is
done in Island Indigo.

I really love Old Olive and Blush Blossom really go
well together.

I love using dots and splatter stamps to add great texture to
projects. I rarely stamp without them. In this project, I used
3 different dots found in stamp sets. Calypso Coral and
Soft Suede are the colors for this card.
This is such a beautiful stamp set. Once I began creating projects, I just wanted to keep going. I think you can use this set with any of the Stampin' Up! colors as well. Well I hope you enjoyed your time with me today. Check out the Stamp of the Month page on my blog. If you like this stamp set, you don't want to miss taking part in this.

August Brings on Rewards

If you shopped in July, you have those $5.00 bonus codes you can use during the month of August. It's so fun to be rewarded for doing your favorite thing, STAMPING! If you have seen all the wonderful projects created with the Carols of Christmas bundle, you will want to have your own. You can purchase this wonderful set during August. This is a month before the holiday catalog goes live.

I'm so glad you joined me today. Let me know what you think of my projects and share what you love. It's time to check out what the other blogger's favorite things are. Enjoy your time visiting the other great stampers. Simply click on the Icon to see what Danica has created.
