Today I have 3 stunningly beautiful holiday slimline cards. I didn't anticipate that they would turn out so absolutely stunning! I have several calendar images that are perfect for cardmaking. Then I simply added Stampin' Up! cardstocks, inks, and embellishments. I also chose several of my holiday sets for the sentiments.
Slimline cards are easy to make as long as you have the envelope size to go by. You don't need any special slimline dies or anything. My envelopes measure
4 1/8" x 9 1/2", so I simply cut my cardstock base 1/4" smaller on both sides. Then I score at 4". Easy Peesie.
When using the calendar images which are stunning. Just think, we usually would just recycle our yearly calendars. This is the perfect way to share the beautiful images. You can find the layer size you need once you cut out the calendar piece. Then you simply do a 1/8" or 1/4" larger cardstock layer.
This second card is a real stunner! I used the Guilding Leafing to give a rich and antique look to the card. It's also traditional Christmas colors with Garden Green and Cherry Cobler. So beautiful!
I thought it would be fun to give away the Guilding Leafing and Heat & Stick. I happen to have extra, so I figure it is the seson of giving and would love to give it to someone to create their own masterpiece.
So, I think this last card is my favorite! I just love the Beautiful Leaves Dies that coordinate with the Beauty of Tomorrow Bundle. The gold accents came from a retired embellishment.
Wow! This last card is just so stunning to me! I love how well Night of Navy and Garden Green go with the bird images from the calendar.
Thanks so much for stopping in. Be sure to go to my YouTube video for today's cards and comment on which card you liked best to be in the drawing for the Guilding Leafing and Heat & Stick Powder. I'll draw a winner on Sunday, November 21st.
Remember that during November, when you place a minimum $25 order with me (before shipping and tax), I will give you double Loyalty Bucks and a stamping gift. All of my proceeds will go to the Coffee Oasis. This is a local organization in Western Washington State that I really like. Ready to shop for a cause? Thank you so much for your support.
