Mary's Card Rehab with Seaside Notions Stamp Set

Hi Everyone,

Thanks for stopping in for my new "Card Rehab". Today I am in need of summer feeling because our weather is so dreary. 

This is the card I was looking at for the rehab. It is a good layout. I like the Pacific Point coloring, but the greeting has me perplexed. I'm not sure how I feel about the orange sea grass onto like that.

Here is my new and updated card. I used Pacific Point and Pool Party. I just recently purchased the Seaside Notions Stamp set and I just love it! 

I just love the underwater stamps in this set. How cute are those little clams. You can check out my video for more details on this project.

Celebrating Blossoms in Bloom Bundle

Hi Everyone,

It's the perfect time to join me for some beautiful floral stamping! The weather is warming, the gardens are planted, and now it's time to reap the beauty of the hard work in planting. I was so inspired by a couple of my blooming flowers for my pair of cards today. 

These flowers are bold and beautiful which inspired the Magenta Madness bold stunning card. For this card, I used Blushing Bride cardstock for the fuller flower die. Then I used Whisper White Cardstock for the outline flower die. Melon Mambo ink was used for the blossom stamp and the stamped background. 

These pretty Pansies were planted by some birds I think and this inspired the more simple, yet stunning card in Balmy Blue. I simply stamped the large blossoms stamp, added the centers of the flowers and accented with the cute little flower. Wink of stella added some glitz to this simple stamped card.

The Blossoms in Bloom set is now available in the 2020-2021 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog. I really like that this set has many all occasion greetings to make a well rounded set for lots of stamping needs.

Simple yet Stunning Sundays with Memories & More Cards

Hi Everyone,

Thanks so much for joining me today. I'm having so much fun digging into the new Memories and More Cards found in the new 2020-2021 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog. These are something that I haven't worked with too much, but the Flowers for Every Season Memories & More Card Pack and cards and envelopes has completely changed that! I'm obsessed!

One of the things I just love about this card pack is the complete coordination of the In Colors. These cards are bright, cheery, and have ones for seasons throughout the year.

But wait, the die cut adhesive shapes are fabulous! In a previous post, I shared a couple of projects where I used several of the die cuts too.

Here are my Simple yet Stunning creations. I was able to create all of these in less than 1 hour and I didn't need tons of stamps or inks either!

Finding Inspiration Friday with Stamparatus Tips and Tricks

Hi Everyone,

OMG! I can't even tell you how inspired I have become with the Flowers for Every Season DSP! I'm glad you are with me today because I have a great tip for you with punches that have more than one image to punch. These are called "Builder Punches".

I created 8 of the same card for some friends and usually I would waste a lot of cardstock by stamping out one umbrella, punching, and then repeat. Not only is that wasteful, it takes a long time to create multiple cards. I created a fun video for you sharing a great trick for punching the multiple images all at once by using the Stamparatus. 

The Stamparatus is a great tool that can make your stamping quick and easy as well as keeping your sanity when you want to line things up perfectly. I just recently began to use some templates for fun results.

If you have the Stamparatus, try out this technique and let me know how it worked for you. 

I'm thinking of the new and very cute Whale Builder Punch for this technique. There are several other builder punches too like the Tulip Builder, Apple Builder, Snowman Builder, and the Vases Builder and the wonderful Butterfly Duet Punch(and lions and tigers and bears, oh my)! So many ways to create lots of cards quickly and easily.

Mary's Card Rehab #4 with Flowers for Every Season DSP

Hi Everyone,

It's another card make over post today. I know you all have had cards that you have created that you see later and wonder, "Did I really make that?" Well today is just that day. It's Mary's Card Rehab day. This is where I take a card from long ago that needs some rehab. This could be from the layout to color choices and proportions.

This bold card is my original card from years past. I don't remember really liking the bold prints in designer series paper (DSP). This layout is okay, but the hearts get lost because of the same DSP. I also find it hard to focus my eyes.

For the new card, it was so easy to make it fabulous! The new Flowers for Every Season DSP is wonderful. I kept the layout as close to the original as possible and then added just a touch of the enamel dots so as to know pull away from the focal point of the greeting.

How amazing are these butterflies? I used the Butterfly Duet punch and adhered the small butterfly onto the larger butterfly for more dimension. You can see more details for this project on my video.
