Global Design Project #159 Challenge

Hi Everyone,

Welcome to another Finding Inspiration Friday. Today it's the Global Design Project #159 challenge for the week. I was a little apprehensive for this week's challenge theme of "Falling in Love". Then, once I saw some of the sketch ideas, I realized love has many meanings and wanted to have a wonderful friend card. 

For my project, I wanted to use the Embossing Mats by Stampin' Up! These mats allow you to use your framelits and thinlits to emboss instead of cutting. 

This card was inspired by a project that Patty Bennett had created. I used the Springtime Impressions Thinlits and the thicker embossing mat to get the beautifully embossed flowers. I then sponged a bit to have the embossed image stand out more. I also used the Layering Oval Framelits To learn more about the embossing mats, click on the video.
