To a Wild Rose Thank You
To a Wild Rose Thank You
Hi Everyone,
Thanks for stopping in. It's the end of the week and I'm heading to Portland for a Stampin' Up! event. I wanted to take some time to share my thank you gifts for people who are participating in a swap with me. I just love To a Wild Rose stamp set and coordinating dies. This set is a 3-step stamp set. What does that mean? Well you create the beautiful flowers using 3 stamps that when layered create stunning flowers and leaves.
So here is the fun standing desk card when fully opened. This is perfect to sit on your desk at work and you have Post-it Notes and a calendar always handy. For this project, I used the In-Color Rococo Rose and the beautiful Woven Threads DSP.
To make this project, you simply cut your cardstock 4 1/4" x 11" and score at 5 1/2" like a regular card. Then you cut another piece of cardstock at 4 1/4" x 5 1/2". This piece is your card front where the calendar will go.
On the base piece, fold your cardstock in half just like a card. Then fold up the bottom to meet the top. Then you attach your front panel to the flap and you now have a stand up card. The Post-it Notes hold the the front panel so the card can stand.
You can see how beautiful To a Wild Rose Stamp set is. There are so many color options to try out with this set. When you purchase the stamp set and coordinating dies together, you get a 10% discount.
I hope you have found some inspiration for your stamping designs. Now is the perfect time to think about wonderful hand stamped gifts for the holidays. I like to package a variety of cards for my co-workers.
Have you seen my blog about my current sketch challenge and prize patrol? Well hurry, you have until November 24th to submit your project for a chance to win. I'd love to see what you create.
