Something New with Global Design Project

Hi Everyone,
Welcome to my Wednesday post where I decided to design for the Global Design Project #220. As a Stampin' Up! Independent Demonstrator, I am preparing and getting ideas for the upcoming January-June Mini catalog and Sale-A-Bration.

For this challenge, we were tasked on Casing the designer, Shawn De Oliveira. Free as a Bird stamp set is wonderful and I was inspired by this challenge.

For my project, I'm using the upcoming free Sale-A-Bration Stamp set called The Power of Hope. This is a free stamp set including the Stone 3-D Embossing folder with a $100 purchase between January and March. I also included the free Lily Impressions Designer Series Paper which is also a free Sale-A-Bration item with a $50 order between January and March.

I just realized that I used another free Sale-A-Bration item for this project. I used the Metallic Baker's Twine & Sequins Combo Pack. This can be earned free with a minimum $50 order between January and March. You may notice that the women has a beautiful Kimono on. I stamped her onto the Lily Impressions DSP and then fussy cut it out to layer onto the stamped image.

The inside of the card has a great tree stamp that is included in the stamp set. The color I chose for this card was Granny Apple Green. It goes so well with the rich colors of the Lilly Impressions DSP. Here are more samples using these free products.

There is so much to look forward to from January - March with Stampin' Up! and Sale-A-Bration. I hope you have enjoyed my project that I created for GDP #200. Be sure to check out all the fun projects that people have submitted to see how they were inspired by Shawn de Oliveira.

It's been great having you with me today. Be sure to check back for updates on my big Open House that is scheduled for January 4th and 5th as well as other events and challenges for you to participate in with prizes. I even have a special going on right now for just 2 more days. I hope you participate. There is also the Year-End Closeout and newly refreshed Clearance Rack to check out!

If you want to place your order through me to get those retiring items, simply order online and be sure to use the current hostess code #FBGHDW7W when placing your order. This hostess code will let me know that I need to put your name in for "Mystery Hostess". That means if you are picked, you get all the hostess benefits. Place your order no later than December 20th to qualify. Don't miss out. This "Mystery Hostess" opportunity ends in 4 days!

If you place a $150 order, don't use the hostess code. You qualify for your own hostess benefits. Please do not mark "No Contact" when you order. I won't be able to contact you to award you with Loyalty Bucks or prizes.

Remember that when you order on-line, you can earn "Loyalty Bucks". For every $25.00 you order, you receive 1 loyalty buck. Collect 20 loyalty bucks and you receive $30.00 free merchandise.

If you’d like to use PayPal to pay for your order, simply email me a list of the products that you’d like to purchase (please include the specific item numbers with your list so that I can verify that I’ve got everything correct in your order), I’ll calculate the total and send you a PayPal invoice, then once you’ve paid the invoice, I’ll submit the order and have it shipped directly to you.  Plus you’ll still have all of the same return and exchange policies and product guarantees that you have when you order through my online store. And when you use PayPal to pay for your order, you’ll receive all of the same benefits (Loyalty Bucks Rewards and Host Dollars through Stampin’ Up!) that you would have by placing an order through my online store!  So if PayPal is your preferred method of payment for online purchases, you can still place Stampin’ Up! orders through me.

Be sure to comment and share this blog. I'd love to hear from you. Local in my area? Check out my classes and events. I love to get to make new friends.

Happy Stampin'
