Black Friday?
No, It's Finding Inspiration Friday
Hi Everyone,
I hope you are able to get up and get moving after all that wonderful turkey and stuffing. I know I had my share, but I think I had more of the appetizers. Does that happen to you? You end up not being very hungry after you have grazed for hours.
Anyway, I am staying away from the hustle and bustle of "Black Friday" shopping! I wanted to share a cute project that I was so inspired to create. Last month, I blogged a class I had done which focused on a one-sheet-wonder idea. We used a 6" x 6" sheet of DSP to create 5 projects. You might remember that blog. Here were our projects using one piece of DSP.
One-Sheet-Wonder 6x6 DSP
I really loved this class, so I wanted to do something along the same lines and color story for a note card set. I used the new pizza boxes and then created 3 little cards (3" x 3") with envelopes. This was so fun. I just loved these little gift sets for my friends.
For the sayings, I used the Lots of Love Stamp set and Birthday Blooms Stamp set. These sentiments are the perfect size for 3 x 3 cards. The richness of Tranquil Tide and the Fresh Florals DSP really make these cards elegant. Silver ribbon and the beautiful 3/8" Metallic-Edge ribbon are so pretty. The In-Color felt bows are part of the On-Line Extravaganza sale going on now.
I did this class for my weekly stamping class. We used the Fresh Florals DSP stack and I had the stampers choose the color they wanted to work with. I then had coordinating accessories and everyone created their own. Here are the finished projects from everyone.

This is a Lemon Lime Twist color that I made up for Jessica. She was ill and couldn't come to class. |
Linda is a newer stamper and she created wonderful cards like a pro. I especially like the green one. |
Here is Bea's Mini Pizza Box. I love the layers of circles that she used. |
These are Bea's cards that she created. I love the first one with the layers of circles. She also added great details to the inside of her cards. |
Ann choose the Berry Burst color and she created many stunning cards. The In-Color Itty Bitty bows are great! |
Here are 3 more of Ann's projects. I love the one on the left with the bitty butterfly. |
This is Christi's Mini Pizza Box. She used the Powder Pink Fresh Floral paper. |
I think the Fresh Fig is the perfect pairing for the Powder Pink DSP. These are Christi's 3 cards she made. |
Class was so much fun. I really like giving the stampers an opportunity to create their own. It helps build that creativity when stamping at home.
