Global Design Project
Color Challenge #173
Hi Everyone,
Welcome to my design blog post for the Global Design Project Color Challenge #173. One of my favorite things is to have a layout or color challenge and decide what to create. Sometimes color combinations can be difficult to decide on, so I grabbed this challenge and ran with it.
This soft color theme had me going in many directions at first. I was thinking baby, but then I thought of spring. The set I decided on was the Forever Lovely Stamp set by Stampin' Up!. This coordinates with the Meant to Be suite as well. I've been seeing a lot of reds with this set, so I thought I'd change it up.
The soft colors made a perfect spring time card. I really like the dies that coordinate with the Forever Lovely set. Adding a bit of texture with the Subtle Embossing Folder on the Petal Pink cardstock adds more interest as well.
There are many more ideas and samples for the GDP#173 blog post. Be sure to go and check them out to see what cards were created inspired by these colors. Thanks so much for joining me today. I hope you are inspired to try a challenge. It is really fun.
If you are in need of any products you can place an order online. I appreciate you choosing me as your demonstrator. Be sure to use the January hostess code #75K4EJAD.
If you place a $150 order, don't use the hostess code. You qualify for your own hostess benefits. Please do not mark "No Contact" when you order. I won't be able to contact you to award you with Loyalty Bucks or prizes.
Remember that when you order on-line, you can earn "Loyalty Bucks". For every $25.00 you order, you receive 1 loyalty bucks. Collect 20 loyalty bucks and you receive $30.00 free merchandise. Be sure to comment and share this blog. I'd love to hear from you.
Happy Stampin',
