Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog
Count Down
Hi Everyone,
Thanks for stopping in today I wanted to be sure to keep up with my posts even though I have had to travel out of state for some family things. It's so hard to believe that the Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog is just a week away from being live! There are so many wonderful things to share, but I have to continue to share my Monster Bash creations. I'm not sure if I've told you before that fall and Halloween are my favorite as well as my oldest daughter, Julianne.
Both of my projects today are for surprising someone with treats for that spooky day. I'm planning on creating them for my coworkers. I am in education, and everyone loves to get treated on the holidays. First off, I've created a fun treat bag that can fit lots of goodies. I used a 6" x 12" piece of the Monster Bash Designer Series Paper. I was inspired by Angie Juda's of Chic' N Scratch 12 weeks of Halloween.
The designer paper is fantastic. The main image of the skeleton and lady was punched out with a 1 3/4" circle punch and then a Starburst punch layer. For the fancy black scroll, I used the Ornate Frames Dies. I love how quick I can create lots of treat bags by utilizing so much of the designer series paper.
Now I know you are going to love these Coffin Treat Boxes. There are 12 to a set and the boxes go together so easily. For my treat box, I used the Hammered Metal 3D-Embossing Folder. I think it looks like cobblestones, which is perfect for a grave yard don't you? This is another image that I cut out of the DSP. The layer is also a die from the Ornate Frames Dies.
If you liked my projects, you might be interested in the entire Monster Bash Suite. This option to purchase the whole collection will give you endless crafting. The suite includes the Spooktacular Bash Stamp set with Ornate Frames Dies, the Monster Bash DSP, A Stylish Scroll Embossing Folder, Basic Black Scalloped Edge Ribbon, Monster Bash Enamel Shapes, and of course the Coffin Treat Boxes. You will have all you need to make many, many treats.
Thanks again for coming by today. I know fall is creeping up on us and it's never too soon to start to spook. Speaking of spooky, have you heard about the September Paper Pumpkin kit?
