What's Up Wednesday with Poinsettia Place Suite Sneak Peek by Stampin' Up!

Hi Everyone,

Welcome to my Wednesday Post today. I recently had an August - December Mini Catalog Pre-Order unboxing video and share so many amazing upcoming products. I'm so excited to share my beautiful little gift box with you. 

This box was made with a square piece of Old Olive cut at 8 1/4" Cardstock, and a square piece of the new Poinsettia Place Designer Series Paper cut at 8 1/2". You can create different sized boxes, but keep the lid and base 1/4" different in size.

This box is so great! I can fit 3" x 3" cards and envelopes. I would put some holiday treats inside or some embellishments to gift someone. Oh, how about some holiday tags created with the Poinsettia Petals Bundle? Okay, that's my next creation for sure!

One of the things I want you to notice is the holly berries and leaf. These are die-cut out of the Plush Poinsettia Specialty Paper. This is liked flocked or velvet like vellum. It is beautiful! I used the Stampin' Blends to color the velvet portions. *Huge Note: Be sure not to touch after you have colored. It must dry, or the velvet will wipe right off the vellum!

This is an Origami Box that is super easy to make. It involves simple folds and just a little cutting. Here is the link to the tutorial. I hope you have fun creating your own. Share yours with me, so I  can see what you've made.

I'm so glad you stopping by today. I'm so excited to share my August Specialty Class using the Comfort and Hope Stamp set by Stampin' Up! This is a fantastic stamp set with many textured stamps and beautiful sayings. I love the versatility of this set when combining with other great stamp sets.

• Each participant will receive the Comfort and Hope Stamp set and supplies for 4 fantastic projects. This includes:

Make it Monday with Comfort & Hope

Hi Everyone,

Welcome to my Make it Monday post. Today I wanted to share a project using the Comfort & Hope Stamp set by Stampin' Up! This is a wonderful set to use to send someone get well wishes. It is also a great set to combine with other stamp sets.

For this card, I combined the Comfort and Hope set with the Blossoms in Bloom Stamp set. I love the way the grid stamp is lightly in the background and the flowers are beautiful! I especially like the color combination of Bumblebee and Cinnamon Cider. The Rococo Rose little flowers add a nice touch.

Finding Inspiration Friday with Cinnamon Cider and Tasteful Touches Bundle

Hi Everyone,

Welcome to my Finding Inspiration Friday. I am so inspired by the new 2020-2022 In Colors and today it's all about Cinnamon Cider and the Tasteful Touches Bundle.

I really like the In Color DSP stack. This adds the perfect background and texture to your project. The vellum overlay softens the print. The Tasteful Label dies are fantastic with the stitched borders too. 

This wonderful card uses the Forever Ferns Stamp set for the background and foliage in the tag. There is also a strip of the Fantastic In Good Taste Designer Series Paper. 

It's hard to pick up, but all the dies are stitched in the Tasteful Label Dies. Can you also see the embossed Pretty Peacock Cardstock strip? That was embossed with the Greenery Embossing Folder. This is a combo embossing folder pair it's great.

Card Sketch Challenge Winner

Hi Everyone,

Welcome to my blog today. It's time to celebrate stampers who entered into my sketch challenge. I put out this challenge in a recent blog and there are the entries. 

The winner is Judy!

This sketch challenge was simply to share a project using floral DSP. Judy created this fantastic fancy fold card and it turned out beautifully!

Judy used the retired Tropical Oasis DSP with the Timeless Tropical Bundle which is still available in the current annual catalog.

Another really nice entry is this one by Linda. I love the boldness of the black and pinks together. Linda used the retired Magnolia Lane DSP and the Ornate Frames Dies. 

Another wonderful project was created by Micky. She used my favorite DSP in the new Annual Catalog Flowers for Every Season DSP. Micky also used the Celebrate Sunflowers Stamp set. 

I love doing card challenges. Once a month, I post a challenge for a prize opportunity. This is usually around the middle of the month and products are due by the end of the month. 

This is the project I featured in the sketch challenge post. The Peony Garden Suite of products is fantastic! The Peony Garden DSP is gorgeous too! This is the prize that Judy has won with her entry.
