What's Up Wednesday with Poinsettia Place Suite Sneak Peek by Stampin' Up!

Hi Everyone,

Welcome to my Wednesday Post today. I recently had an August - December Mini Catalog Pre-Order unboxing video and share so many amazing upcoming products. I'm so excited to share my beautiful little gift box with you. 

This box was made with a square piece of Old Olive cut at 8 1/4" Cardstock, and a square piece of the new Poinsettia Place Designer Series Paper cut at 8 1/2". You can create different sized boxes, but keep the lid and base 1/4" different in size.

This box is so great! I can fit 3" x 3" cards and envelopes. I would put some holiday treats inside or some embellishments to gift someone. Oh, how about some holiday tags created with the Poinsettia Petals Bundle? Okay, that's my next creation for sure!

One of the things I want you to notice is the holly berries and leaf. These are die-cut out of the Plush Poinsettia Specialty Paper. This is liked flocked or velvet like vellum. It is beautiful! I used the Stampin' Blends to color the velvet portions. *Huge Note: Be sure not to touch after you have colored. It must dry, or the velvet will wipe right off the vellum!

This is an Origami Box that is super easy to make. It involves simple folds and just a little cutting. Here is the link to the tutorial. I hope you have fun creating your own. Share yours with me, so I  can see what you've made.
