Mary's Card Rehab with To a Wild Rose Stamp set by Stampin' Up!

Hi Everyone,
You chose a great day to stop in because I'm doing an overhaul or "rehab" on a card I once made. Today the topic is on focal point.

On my original card, I feel like there is no focal point. Items seem to be placed all over with no real plan. Now elements are great, but a little work is needed. I really like the label from the Wild Rose Dies, so that and the butterflies will stay.

This is my updated card. I decided to add a little splash of color with the die cut leaves. I think this adds to the focal point. I also decided to use a lighter blue to make it more fresh. I feel with the way I've laid out the label and placed the butterflies, now your eyes are drawn to the greeting, which is the focal point. You can get more details with my YouTube video.

Thanks so much for stopping in today. Let me know what you think of my overhauled card. I'd love to connect. Don't miss out on the great opportunities happening now. My birthday celebration is half-way over, but you still have lots of chances to win the $100 Stampin' Up! shopping spree.
