Make it Monday with Ghoulish Goodies Fun

Hi Everyone,

I'm so, so excited you are with me today. I had my Ghoulish Goodies Fun Class on Saturday, and I wanted to share all the fun projects with you. This class included home décor, treats or friends and a couple of fun cards.

I just loved the home décor piece! For the class, we used the Ghoulish Goodies stamp set and the Magic in This Night Suite for our projects. The Ghoulish Goodies set is so fun with the little black cat and more. The frame is a 5"x7" frame from the Dollar Tree.

I thought it would be fun to include a little candle wrap and use the awesome pieces from the August Paper Pumpkin kit. This really helped creating quick and cute projects. The DSP is from the Magic in This Night Designer Series Paper. 

For this cute box we used the 2"x2" Acetate Treat Boxes and pieces from the August Paper Pumpkin Kit. There are tons on wonderful and very cute pieces in that kit!

There were 2 cards in this class as well. I just love how awesome the products in the August-December Mini Catalog are!

This card was inspired by fellow demonstrator, Marissa. I loved how she inked up the Cobweb 3D Embossing folder and embossed those striking webs. The Metallic Mesh is also great on any project. It adds so much!

This card uses the wreath stamp from Arrange a Wreath Stamp set. It is the perfect stamp for the flying glitter bats. 

You can't forget the spooky fun inside your cards. I am getting into double layering on the inside too. I think it adds so much.

Finding Inspiration Friday with the Best Plaid Builder Dies

Hi Everyone,

I'm so glad you stopped in today. First, did you have a chance to get some great deals from the 24 hour stamp set sale Wednesday? I know that ordered a couple of them myself. I ordered a few like the Massive Thanks set, Walk in the Woods set, My Meadow set, and Way to Goat set to name a few. If you ordered any, let me know what you got. Today I wanted to share several cards we created at my Weekly Wednesday stamp class.

The Best Plaid Builder Dies are just that, the best! This first card is all about fall (my favorite season) paired with the Love of Leave Bundle  and the Harvest Hellos stamp set and coordinating Apple Builder punch.

I just love these seeds and leaves. The inside of this project is so cute!

This card was created using the Best Year Stamp set that is included with the bundle purchase with the Plaid Builder Dies. I just love the Seaside Spray In-Color!

The Seaside Spray Metallic Ribbon is so beautiful! It adds just the right touch for this card.

When you use the Best Plaid Builder Dies, you will get lots of squares and rectangles, so don't get rid of them. Use them to create a new project like this sweet baby card. Once we did our first two projects, we had lots of squares. The colors really seemed "baby" to me, so this is what we created.

When we used the dies, I had adhesive sheets, which I would recommend with the thin line die. It made putting the squares down easy. It was a 3"x3" square of white cardstock that we put the squares on. Then the elephants were stamped right on top. It was perfect!

This last card is probably my favorite. It was one that I created on my  Wednesday class live recap on Facebook (Mary's Card Cafe). I share the cards made from class and then I create a card using the same set/dies. I had an idea to do a Christmas card, so this is what I created. The Winter Woods stamp set and coordinating In the Wood Dies are fabulous!

The Red Rhinestones really light up that fantastic white die-cut tree. I really love the tree and green branches behind.

Make it Monday with Magic in This Night Suite by Stampin' Up!

 

Hi Everyone,

I am so excited to have you stop by today. I know it's not October yet, but I just love, love Halloween! If I could, I would keep my decorations up all year. My card today uses most of the products in the Magic in This Night Suite by Stampin' Up! 

What's so stunning bout this Suite is the Magic in This Night Designer Series Paper. It has such rich colors and it reminds me of the Day of the Dead designs. The floral sheets can be use for occasions other than Halloween.  

I have been making sure the inside of my cards are just as nice as the outside. It adds so much to the card. I just love the lacy bats too. You can get more details watching my Simple Yet Stunning Sunday video.

Finding Friday Inspiration Sketch Challenge + Prize Patrol

Hi Everyone,

Welcome to Finding Inspiration Friday. This Friday is one of my favorites because it's sketch challenge time with a prize patrol! The cards I'm sharing today are like a 2 for 1. 

I love this first card because of the monochromatic coloring. That means staying in the shades of one color. This is my favorite. For some reason, I'm drawn to projects done this way. The Love of Leaves Bundle is also one of my favorites in the August-December 2020 Mini Catalog. The Stitched Leaves dies were used mostly for these cards. The dies are spectacular!

This card was created with the negative piece from the die cut leaf in the first card. It's perfect. When you use the Stitched Leaves dies, you get 2 pieces, so be sure to lay the die in the middle of the cardstock, so you have the beginnings of another card.

Finding Inspiration Friday with Love of Leaves

Hi Everyone,

Welcome to my Friday inspiration. Today is the very last day to register for my Love of Leaves Specialty Product class. It's going to be so great! Participants will create 4 fantastic projects and receive the Love of Leaves Stamp set. Check out the details.

The wonderful thing about the Love of Leaves Stamp set is the way the leaves stamp. They automatically have a water colored look to them which is great. It looks like you spent a lot of time water coloring when you didn't. An how about the Stitched Leaves Dies?! I can't get enough of the stitched veins of the leaves and that stitched border is awesome!

I love a surprise and this inside of the card is so stunning! You really get a sense of the water color look now. 

I created this card using leftovers from class. The card was a bit different, but I simply changed up the greeting and added the large leaf. The Autumn Goodness Specialty DSP is wonderful. Participants in the specialty class will get a 1/2 package of the DSP.
