Well I'm working on laundry my first day back from Stampin' Up! convention. I have to say, this was a wonderful convention. I think I really liked the classes and workshops this year. I got lots of great ideas and spent time with lots of stamping friends.

Hi Everyone,

It's a busy time here at the Blocher household. My daughter Samantha has made it to her 3 week summer dance lab in Walla Walla. We moved her in to the dorm with her roommate Christina. The angle of the  camera makes Sam look so much taller than Christina. They are closer in size than the picture shows.

The dorms are at Whitman College. It is very nice and air conditioned, which is great. Look at this beautiful building. The campus is very beautiful. Hopefully the weather won't get back to 112 degrees like last week.

While Sam's dancing, I'm continuing to work on swaps for convention. I have a few more designs that I am in the process of finishing. The flower card is another specialty swap, and the other 2 are using the "Guy Greetings" Stamp set. I Hope you enjoy.

I love the 2-step stamping sets. It is so easy to create beautiful images. Watermelon Wonder is my focal point color. The Cucumber Crush is great too. I don't know if you can see it very well, but I used the silver rimmed pearls that are new this year.

Hi Everyone,

I am so excited to visit friends and family tomorrow at Julianne's graduation brunch. It will be nice to celebrate at the awesome Whiskey Creek Restaurant in Keyport. I wanted to share my table center pieces I made and a wonderful cookie by Sugar Studios in Silverdale, WA.

 

I decided to go with cookies instead of cake or cupcakes for dessert. The other cookies are the graduation cap. Julianne's cookie is special. As it should be right? I had fun using Stampin' Up!'s Class of 2015 stamp. The glitter stars and rhinestones add that needed bling.

Wow what a busy few days. It's so exciting to have a graduate from high school. Julianne had her commencement ceremony yesterday. It was at the Kitsap Fairgrounds.



Here we are right after the ceremony. It was a beautiful day.

I also wanted to share how well my garden is doing. I blogged a while back and showed my empty beds. Now look at what this great weather has done.

 

 

I created a graduation card for one of Julianne's friend. I used the "Class of 2015" Stampin' Up! stamp with designer series paper and glitter stars. I think it came out great. What do you think?
