My Summer Break
Puts Creativity in Everyday

Hi Everyone,

One thing about being part of public education, is that you get a break in the summer. Mine is shorter than normal now that I am on special assignment and have some work to do with other teachers in beginning August, so I need to get my creativity going for the month of July. There are so many things I want to do, and the picture above is a preview to a Finding Inspiration Friday video posting on YouTube on Friday.

One of the things I love is Christmas in July. I decided to use the Eastern Beauty stamp set and Thinlits for a more festive and holiday theme. I hope you like them.

The deep Real Read and Cherry Cobbler add
such richness to this card.

I love the way this medallion cuts out.

On the softer side of the holidays, I choose
to use Seasonal Bells with the Thinlits. Blue
and silver are such a nice combination.

I really like the designs on the bells and the silver
trim.
Now I know it's early for Christmas, so here is a card perfect for that special birthday that comes along.

My brother just celebrated that special benchmark. We laughed
because it is such a surprise to realize you've hit this
milestone. Birthday Delivery is a great stamp set with coordinating
DSP and Framelits.

Another way that I get into crafting is having fun creating 3-D items such as boxes and surprise cards. Stampin' Up! has many products to help create some wonderful projects. I used the Succulent Framelits to create this flower for the top of a box.

The vinyl medallions look beautiful on the colored gift box. I
also wanted to highlight new ribbon of the Ombre ribbon and
the Berry Burst ribbon as well.
Folded up, this fits into a standard envelope.

Surprise, a spring bouquet pop up card can stay
out and be enjoyed.

I really like the texture of the flowers on this project.
I hope you are ready for a little more. I had a great photo of my daughter that was taken while having fun at the park. My daughter and her friend like to go to the school playground and take pictures. I just love this picture because it completely captures who she is.

Sam will turn 17 in just a few days. She really is a work of God's Art. Her
spirit and empathy shines bright everyday.

I hope you find inspiration and creativity sometime today. Life is full of wonderful things.
