Wonderful Wednesday
Weekly Class
Hi Everyone,
Happy Wednesday to you all. It's going to be a weekly wonderful Wednesday when I share projects from my weekly classes I hold in my workshop room. This week we are using the Sure Do Love You Bundle of products. I love everything in this suite of products.
This class was inspired by the cute love box that you can make from the Lots to Love Framelits Dies. I saw this box on YouTube with Chick-n-Scratch and thought it was so cute. The box is the perfect size to hold about 3 of the new Narrow Note Cards & Envelopes, so I decided to have a couple of cards for everyone to make as well.

The color combination was really fun to do for this week's class. The Painted with Love Specialty Designer Series Paper has some great coordinating colors. Calypso Coral was the basis for the class and the Painted with love DSP works great! The foil accenting in the paper is wonderful! It's really hard to see the shimmer in the catalog, but it's great.
The note card with the glittered heart is a lot of fun to create. I saw a project similar to this, but it didn't say how to create the heart. I used the new Gold Glitter Flakes from the Occasions Catalog. To do this heart, you will need the multi purpose adhesive sheets found in the annual catalog. You can adhere the adhesive sheet to what ever cardstock you want. I think white or gold would be perfect. I used Calypso Coral, but it is difficult to get every spot covered. My heart is completely covered, but the glitter flakes are reflecting the Calypso Coral heart around it. To get the heart completely covered, you will need to first run the cardstock through the Big Shot with the heart die.
You then glue the heart down in place with adhesive side up. Peel off the backing and now you have a super sticky surface. Pour the Gold Glitter Flakes all over the heart. Use a scrap paper to mash down the flakes to get them to adhere. You will see that there are still some small areas that aren't covered.
Get your gold stamping glitter and pour this onto the heart. Again use a scrap paper to mash down the glitter and flakes. Now your heart will be completely covered. Tap off excess and the card it good to go.
I hope you enjoyed these projects from class. Join me next week for another Wonderful Wednesday post.
