CTS Design Challenge

Hi Everyone,

Welcome to a wonderful Monday where the fun begins by creating for a sketch challenge. It's so fun to look at a challenge and think about what stamp set, inks, and papers would be best. Today, I'm inspired by the wonderful Bird Ballad Suite of products, especially the designer series paper. Today, my project was inspired by the CTS #330 sketch by Ali.

As you can see, the CTS #330 by Ali is great! I love the center focal point and the freedom for some simple stamping. The group that sponsors the CTS blog have a theme for "clean and simple" stamping. 

The project I created for this sketch challenge is really clean and simple. I used the Bird Ballad DSP and die-cut a circle from the designer paper with the Layering Circle Dies. I then used the scallop circle with Old Olive cardstock for the layer. The polka dot pattern is simply the backside of the DSP that I used. 

This card is great for any occasion too. I used "Birthday Wishes", but you can do any sentiment. Be sure to check out the other entries at the CTS Blog page for this challenge. There is still time for you to create your own entry too.
