Paper Players Theme Challenge

Hi Everyone,

Thanks for stopping in. I decided to share a project for the Paper Player's theme challenge for this week. This time it is summer fun with water sports. 

I have been inspired by the new Sailing Home Suite by Stampin' Up! There are so many wonderful products in this suite that it's hard to decide which to use. This card is a beautiful one. I love the High Seas embossing folder. 

This card has a special surprise. It stands up and is held up by that really great die-cut knot. The center panel doesn't have to be a certain width. You simply decide on how big you want your panel and cut equally on either side. My panel is 2 1/4" wide, so then the base needs to be 2 1/2" wide. So each cut needs to be at 1 1/2". Then the score line for where the card bends simply is determined on how far back you want the panel to go. You will need something to hold the panel back. Usually a strip of cardstock is enough.

As you can see, this is such a great suite of products. There are wonderful accessories and designer series paper too. I shared another project from this suite of products in a recent post.
