Playing Along with Freshly Made Sketches & Sheetload of Cards

Hi Everyone,

Thanks for stopping in today for my double purpose of my project. I was creating this super cute card for the October Sheetload of Cards and it happens to fit perfectly for the current Freshly Made Sketches challenge for this week. It's so great like a buy one get one free promotion.

At first when I saw the FMS #660 by Judy, I thought I needed to create a stunning center oval card. Guess what? I read the blog and it said elegant or cute, so I opted for the cute!

The card layout for my project was also part of the #sheetloadofcards for October. I love downloading the sheetload of cards each month and creating with the sketch layout they have for the month. It's amazing how many variety of projects you can get with one sheetload template. The super cute fox is from Tracy Hey designs created with alpaca pals an organization that rescues alpacas.

Don't forget to "dress up" the inside of your cards with a bit of DSP. I used the wonderful 6" x 6" Iconic Celebrations DSP pack. There are 48 sheets of many occasional double-sided papers to choose.

I guess you could say that my project today is like a buy one and get two free because my participants at my Stamp & Chat Saturday will be creating this card too. Be sure to check out all the wonderful projects crafters have uploaded for the FMS #660 sketch challenge. I hope you enjoyed my card today. It was so much fun creating with the super cute fox. Be sure to check out all the wonderful sheetload of cards too

Be sure to check out all the new releases that came out with Stampin' Up! today as well. There are 2 new Kits and many Online Exclusive releases to gobble up. You can shop and check out my stamping events too.

Until Next Time...

Lovin' Kits by Stampin' Up! Who are They For? Everyone From Beginner to Avid Crafters

Hi Everyone,

Thanks for stopping in today. Maybe you are popping in from my Kickin' it with Kits YouTube upload or simply following my blog. I appreciate everyone who shares in my creativity. Today I'm sharing some alternate projects I created with the Expressions of Kindness Kit.

Stampin' Up! Kits are great! They are all inclusive and you don't need additional supplies to create with them. I loved the design of this kit so much, but I wanted to take some time to add my creativity to it too. The top right card was created just like the sample. I wanted to add more layers and color, so I cut the card base in 1/2 and then created from there pulling in other cardstock that coordinates with this kit.

The other card base had designs on the front and back of the card. I love to double my crafting fun by cutting the card base in 1/2 and getting 2 cards out of one card base. I used Lost Lagoon and Berry Burst as my new card bases.

The next two projects are the most altered. I wanted to use the bits and pieces of the supplies I had left as well as bringing the beautiful envelopes into cardmaking too.

The beautiful layer of this card is from one of the envelopes. I took apart the envelope and cut part of it down to 5" x 3 3/4". I then used another part of the envelope to use on the flap of a Basic White envelope in it's place. I think this card turned out beautifully!

This card is my favorite of all the ones I created. I felt that it allowed me to be the most creative. I had bits and pieces left and allowed the pieces speak to me.

I had so much fun playing around with the Expressions of Kindness kit. I loved the color scheme of this kit, and will continue to create and finish up all the parts and pieces I still have left.

Did you know that Stampin' Up! has 3 kinds of kits available? All of Stampin' Up! kits are accessable for any kind of stamper, from beginning to avid crafting, there is a kit for everyone! Check out my YouTube video for more details on how I made my cards as well as the types of kits available.

Kisses & Hugs Paper Pumpkin Kit + 2 Additional Cards

Hi Everyone,

Thanks for stopping in for my post today. It's that time to think about that person who is special to you and show them your love with a handmade card. My projects today were made from the January Kisses & Hugs Paper Pumpkin kit.

I really like the lining of the envelopes for the kit. The color of the envelopes are Flirty Flamingo, but the inside of the envelope reveals a beautiful gold foil XOXO pattern. So pretty!

I used the Contour Dies and the Heart Punch Pack to die cut the rectangle and to punch out the scallop hear and that XOXO envelope liner.

For this next card, I decided to use the inside of the envelope as the layer on my card front. I also use a Flirty Flamingo card base. Then, I used a strip of the envelope on the Flirty Flamingo side for contrast. The foiled heart squares are part of the kit as well. The vellum heart and sequins finishes the card.

I hope you enjoyed my projects today. If you haven't had a Paper Pumpkin Kit or any kit by Stampin' Up!, check out the line of products today.  I'm giving the Kisses & Hugs kit to 1 lucky winner. Simply leave a comment here on on my video saying "Hello" and #kissesandhugs. Winner announced Sunday, February 6th.

No Matter the Weather Kit - Inspiration Friday Customize your own Kit

Hi Everyone,
You picked the right day to stop by. The weather is rainy and blustery and perfect for the No Matter the Weather Kit by Stampin' Up! The Paper Pumpkin - No Matter the Weather kit was in 2020 and it was so popular! Stampin' Up! has brought the kit back as part of the new Kits by Stampin' Up! line of products. Today I decided to customize my kit and create some alternate projects.

This first card I created focusing on the pre-stamped card with the umbrella with the girls in rainboots. I used the Contour Scallop dies to get the scalloped sides and then embossed the base with the Meadow Moments Embossing folder to get that blustery feeling.

For this card, I used the left over piece from the die cut card in the first project as a great accent piece. The row of boots is super cute too! I used the green pair of boots on the first card. The splotches on the background came from one of the stamps in the Quiet Meadow Stamp set. I also used the sentiment from the Sweet Strawberry Stamp set.

For this card, I used the kit components and the included stamp set for the sentiment. Again I used the Contour Scallop dies, and then used the pre-printed boots and flowers for the focal point. It's amazing how beautiful this kit is!

It's hard to decide, but I think I like this Calypso Coral card the most. The reason I like this one is that the new Watercolor Shapes Stamp set is amazing! You can combine and create so many backgrounds and accents for your projects. I have to say that these boots with the flowers are awesome! There has to be some way that Stampin' Up! will continue to offer the refills or something. Everyone wants more boots!

This is the last alternate project I created using the No Matter the Weather Kit. I combined the After the Storm Stamp set to create a "Thinking of you" or a "Get Well" card. The kit gives you some wonderful color combinations to work with as well.

Thanks again for stopping in. I have a FB replay for the cards I created if you'd like more details.

Well that was a lot of rainboots and well wishes. I had so much fun creating and crafting with this kit!
