Make it Monday with Freshly Made Sketches

Hi Everyone,
Today I finally got some time to play with a super cute stamp set called Clever Cats. It is feautred in the 2021 July-December Mini Catalog by Stampin' Up. My design is also for the Freshly Made Sketch #496. I also have a tip on how to create a faux glimmer paper.

I loved this sketch layout. I allowed me to mix and match designer series paper which is one of my favorite things to do.

The designer series paper I used is also in the upcoming mini catalog. It's the Frightfully Cute DSP stack. There are so many cute designs in the DSP stack, but I decided to go with the classic patten side to keep with my black and Highland Heather look.

Long strip: 2" x 5"
Longer skinny strip: 1 3/4" x 3 1/4"
Bottom strip: 1 3/4" x 1 3/4""

One of the tips I wanted to share with you is how to make a faux glimmer paper look. Do you have Wink of Stella? This is the perfect tool to create that dazzling look. I used Wink of Stella on the web die (Frightfully Cute Dies) and the bottom right DSP square. Now they both look all glimmery just like glimmer paper.

I hope you like my card today that I created for Freshly Made Sketches. You can go to their blog and see lots of ideas using this sketch. It really starts to put me in the mood for fall and spooky fun.

It's hard to belive that it's August now and the 2021 July-December Mini products become available for customers tomorrow. To celebrate my mini catalog and Sale-A-Bration promotion, I am offering a chance for you to win Mystery Hostess. For every $25 you spend at my online store (before shipping and tax), you will be entered into the drawing to win the hostess benefits (if a minimum $150) is reached. Order between now and August 8th. You must use Hostess Code #CDUJXPMK at checkout to qualify. The hostess code is necessary to tie all the orders together to create a workshop party for Mystery Hostess.

Thanks again for stopping in for my project today. It is so fun to play with designer series papers. I'd love to see what you create with any DSP you have. Let me know if you need any stamping support. I'm here 24/7.

Happy Stampin',

    1. Thanks much Kim, I meant to get my card loader sooner than I did. So glad it made it in time.
