Kisses & Hugs Paper Pumpkin Kit + 2 Additional Cards

 

Hi Everyone,

Thanks for stopping in for my post today. It's that time to think about that person who is special to you and show them your love with a handmade card. My projects today were made from the January Kisses & Hugs Paper Pumpkin kit. 

I really like the lining of the envelopes for the kit. The color of the envelopes are Flirty Flamingo, but the inside of the envelope reveals a beautiful gold foil XOXO pattern. So pretty!

I used the Contour Dies and the Heart Punch Pack to die cut the rectangle and to punch out the scallop hear and that XOXO envelope liner. 

For this next card, I decided to use the inside of the envelope as the layer on my card front. I also use a Flirty Flamingo card base.Then, I used a strip of the envelope on the Flirty Flamingo side for contrast. The foiled heart squares are part of the kit as well. The vellum heart and sequins finishes the card.

Finding Inspiration Friday with Blessings of Home Bundle

 

Hi Everyone,

Welcome to my Friday blog. Today I was so inspired by a photo of a flower that a friend posted, so I created this card to give a nod to that flower. The purple and beauty of this flower is just stunning!

Isn't this flower beautiful? How could you not be inspired by it. I think the color is so Gorgeous Grape and Highland Heather. Thanks for sharing this Cheryl!

For my project today, I used the Blessings of Home Bundle. For coloring, I used the Watercolor Pencils and Blender pens by Stampin' Up! This card is also being used for the Freshly Made Sketches challenge #519. The layout of the card was inspired by the challenge.

This is such a nice layout. There are many ways to add textures and layers. For me, I used a DSP layer and then ribbons to add some interest and texture.

This class is a $25 card class for card kit with supplies for 4 projects + 1 bonus mystery project. The In-Person class is Sunday, January 23rd at 1:00 pm. Make the Most of Sale-A-Bration - My Tips and Tricks

It's time to Sale-A-Brate, Come on! I always think of that great song everytime Stampin' Up! has a Sale-A-Bration Promotion. 

Today begins the start of the January-June 2022 Mini Catalog and Sale-A-Bration. I know it can be overwhelming with all the new products and FREE products, so I'm here to share suggestions on how to make the most of Sale-A-Bration. 

This Level 1 (minimum $50 order), Island Vibes Stamp set has 3 wonderful stamps and no sentiments. The card I made today uses the Special Moments Level 2 (minimum $100) Stamp set. I would suggest that you purchase the Timeless Tropical Stamp set and the In the Tropics coordinating dies. These 2 items are just a bit over $50 and would qualify you to get the Island Vibes Stamp set FREE. It would be a great addition to the Timeless Tropical Stamp set, which has many sayings. 

Let's continue on with some other Level 1 FREE picks. There are some wonderful designer series paper and the Daffodil Afternoon 12" x 12" DSP is stunning! This designer series paper is so bold and the other side of the paper has great patterns and more soft tones to make mixing and matching of the papers so easy!

In the January-June 2022 Mini catalog, I would suggest you purchase the Daffodil Daydream Bundle for perfect coordination. This is a great bundle with daffodil building dies for eye catching projects. The purchase of the Daffodil Daydream Bundle qualifies you for a FREE Level 1 pick and the Daffodil Afternoon DSP is the perfect pick!

One of my favorite Level 1 Sale-A-Bration picks is the Sunshine and Rainbows 6" x 6" Designer Series paper. It is such a bright and happy feeling with this paper. 

Once you see this DSP, you will not hesitate to know what you need to buy. The Rainbow of Happiness Bundle in the January-June 2022 Mini Catalog is the best! This is a $44.00 bundle, so you will want to order the Sparkle & Shine Sequins Assortment to get you over the $50 needed for the FREE Sunshine and Rainbows DSP. There is also the Cloud Punch that you need to get to have with the bundle. The Cloud Punch is an $18 item, so you don't have to get the Sequins assortment, but why not right?

The next few Level 1 FREE Sale-A-Bration items were created to be colored. If you like coloring, you will love these stamp sets. The sets are, Catching Butterflies, Driving By, and Awesome Otters. Let's move on to the Level 2 Sale-A-Bration picks. There are two level 2 options, and I have suggestions for both.

The Special Sentiments Level 2 FREE pick was used on my card today. This set has so many wonderful sentiments with varying fonts and sizes. It will be the one sentiment set you will want in your stamping supplies. I always seem to be looking for that perfect sentiment and sometimes the set I'm using or other sets just don't have the right one for that moment. This is where Special Sentiments comes in. 

On page 39 of the January-June 2022 Mini Catalog, there is a set called Oceanfront. It's a $22 stamp set. It has wonderful stamps to build beachy scenes. I would suggest you purcase this stamp set and then purchase the On the Horizon Bundle which is $50.25. This is a perfect complement to the Oceanfront Stamp set. I would also suggest the Tailored Tag Punch $18. This leaves $10 more dollars to spend, so I would pick out a package of Shimmery White Cardstock $10. This cardstock would be so beautiful with the oceanfront scenes. Wow these are wonderful products to qualify for the Level 2 Special Sentiments. 

The Friendly Hello Stamp set and 12" x 12" Designer Series paper is the next Level 2 Sale-A-Bration offering. This is a great Level 2 choice with the stamp set and coordinating DSP. Coloring tools would be great for this pick, but I have some other suggestions on some stamping staples you should have in your crafting space.
