Stamp Something Saturday
CTS #282
Hi Everyone,
It's that time again for the CAS(E) this Sketch blog challenge. This week everyone is going to CASe Brian King. He was chosen with one of his projects as the sketch to CASe. This is a really great challenge because I love to mix and match designer series paper. The card below is the one that Brian created. Isn't it beautiful?
For my project today, I created a quick card during my weekly stamping class that I think fits this challenge perfectly. I used the Petal Promenade Designer Series Paper as the focal point for my card. I cut a piece of 5" x 3 3/4" DSP in half and used the back side as the top and the floral for the bottom. Then the beautiful white ribbon creates that nice band across the middle.
Although my project is a horizontal layout, it still follows the sketch of Brian's. I like the marble look of the backside of the floral pattern too. The saying and small floral stamp came from the Southern Serenade Stamp set in the Annual Catalog.
Thanks for stopping in today. There are many more projects that you can see for this challenge at the Case This Sketch Blog post. Maybe you want to give this sketch a try. Simply CASe Brian's layout and share.
There are just a couple of days to get in on the DSP special as well as getting a free color collection of stamp pads. Simply click below for more information.
