Weekly Stampin' Class

Hi Everyone,

Thanks for joining me today for my weekly Wednesday post about my stamp class I hold each week. This past week we got to play with the Graceful Glass Designer Series Vellum stack. This beautifully designed vellum is so nice. 

This first project was created using a new In-Color called Pineapple Punch. It is so bright and cheerful. I used Stampin' Write markers on the back side of the vellum. The panel was then glued to a white piece of cardstock. 

This card was created by pairing the Pineapple Punch with Poppy Parade and black. The medallion really pops.

When it comes to coloring, you can use the Stampin' Write Markers or the Stampin' Blends. Each type of marker gives a slight difference in the intensity of color. I find that I like the Stampin' Write Markers more on the vellum than the Blends. I feel like the intensity of the color is stronger. The only draw back is that the Stampin' Write markers are water based, so you have be careful not to smear the ink until they dry. 

Our last project for class used the new Balmy Blue cardstock. The designs on the vellum are so nice. There is a lot of variety in this 6" x 6" paper stack. The "Thank You" greeting is from the Flourishing Phrases Stamp set.
