Love What you Do with Grapefruit Grove

Hi Everyone,

Thanks for stopping in today to join me for my Weekly Wednesday post. My project today features one of the retiring 2018-2020 In-Colors, Grapefruit Grove.

I used the Love What you Do Stamp set and paired it with Granny Apple Green and Grapefruit Grove Cardstock and ink. The Love What you Do DSP is not longer available. 

The flower layers were created using fellow demonstrator, Connie Stewart's "Flash Card" size layers which are; Granny Apple piece cut at 4 1/4" x 2 3/4" and the white piece is cut at 4" x 2 1/2".You can see that this creates the perfect size for the main part of your card. The "Thank you" sentiment was punched out using the Label me Fancy Punch.

One of the things I really like is the Wink of Stella which really brings out the flowers. I also cut out extra flowers and adhered them with Stampin' Dimensionals, so they would be raised up.

Grapefruit Grove is one of the 2018-2020 In-Colors that will be retiring at the end of May. There are 5 colors that are retiring in this group.

I really like Grapefruit Grove, but I think Lovely Lipstick and Blueberry Bushel are at the top too. Any products that incorporate these colors will also retire. That includes DSP and embellishments. The Stampin' Up! Discontinuing list will be published today at 1:00 pm. These products are "while supplies last", and will run out quickly.

Then the best news is the new 2020-2021 Annual Catalog will be coming out soon. There will be so many fabulous new products to get excited about. • April 22: Retiring List is posted
• May 5: Demonstrators can Pre-order from the new catalog
• May 5: New catalog products available in your starter kit if you join.
  • You will also get a case of new catalogs with your kit.
• May 11: New 2020-21 catalogs will be mailed
• June 2: Last day of the current 2019-20 catalog and retiring list
• June 3: Customers can begin ordering from the new catalog
