Saying Goodbye to Honey Bee

Hi Everyone,

It's another great day to feature another of my favorites that will retire at the end of May. Thanks for stopping on. I'm sharing a few projects using the Honey Bee Bundle from the January-June 2020 Mini Catalog.

I just love everything about this bundle! The stamp set is great. The dies are great too. The Golden Honey Specialty DSP was from Sale-A-Bration and it was fantastic! The DSP was the #1 pick in free products during Sale-A-Bration. 

For this project, I used Purple Posy Stampin' Blends to color the wings and stripes of the bees. Then I used Dazzling Diamonds to get the shimmer on the wings.

The stamp inside this projects is from the Back on your Feet Stamp set. Isn't that bee stamp fantastic?!

This card features a couple more stamps from the Honey Bee Stamp set. There are 2 flowers the are the same, but the face in opposite directions. So Cool! I used Melon Mambo for the card base and Granny Apple Green for the rectangle. The Golden Honey DSP was sponged over using Melon Mambo and the Sponge Brayer.

This last card is my favorite. It really shows that wonderful honey comb die really well. I used a patterned piece of DSP behind it. There are those opposite facing flowers too.
