Another Butterfly Brilliance Simple Stamping

Hi Everyone,

Thanks for stopping in this week for a mid-week post. I recently posted for my monthly sketch challenge for monochromatic cards. I thought it would be fun to create a super simple monochromatic card using the Butterfly Brilliance Stamp set.

I just realized that I used Seaside Spray which is one of the 2019-2021 In Colors that is retiring. The Butterfly Gems are also retiring. And what's more, the Retiring list is being released today at 12:00pm (PT). So exciting!

I love using the Stitched Shapes Dies and Layering Ovals together. It helps to create the wonderful dimension to your cards.

Thanks for stopping in. Be sure to join me at 4:00pm (PT) on Facebook Live today for stamping fun. I will also talk about my favorite things that are retiring.

Finding Inspiration Friday with Hey Chick & Hey Birthday Chick

 Hi Everyone,

Thanks for checking out my blog today. I couldn't wait to share the fun projects I have for you today! During my Weekly Wednesday Facebook Live session, the topic was mixing and matching stamp sets and dies. Today is all about the super cute Hey Chick, Hey Birthday Chick, and the Darling Donkeys Sale-A-Bration set.

This card was created when I had a Zoom meeting with some of my downline demonstrators. The Hey Birthday Chick bundle is so awesome! I really love the "Happy Birthday" die.

The super cute and textured barn is part of the Hey Chick Bundle. You may have the Hey Chick stamp set. It was a Level 1 Sale-A-Bration set in 2017. Check your stash. The Chick dies have so many wonderful die pieces!

All you need is love! This card is so soft and the colors are beautiful! The designer paper is from the Hydrangea Haven Suite of products. I added the Many Hearts Dies with this card. This donkey is all about love!

Once you begin to create with the Chick Dies or the Birthday Chick dies, you will be hooked! Look at how textured and realistic the fence and corn stalk is. I am so amazed at the level of detail in these dies.

This donkey is my favorite in the Darling Donkeys stamp set. It reminds me of Winnie the Pooh with Eeyore.

This final project is my favorite one. This is such a fun scene of characters having a party! You might notice the bits of ground along the bottom. This was created using one of the dies as a stamp.

This donkey is kicking up its heals in celebration of one more month of Sale-A-Bration. You can check out all of the Hey Chick products. You can also watch off the these projects in the works from my YouTube replay.

Thanks again for joining me today. Are you ready to get your Hey Chick products? Place an order through me and I will send you a tutorial for two super cute Hey Chick and Hey Birthday Chick projects.

There is still time to register for my Enjoy the Moment Specialty Class. You can visit my recent post for more details. Place a minimum $50 order using the Hostess Code DZQKJHFH at check out and I will send the the "card kit" free. This includes 8 cards (2 each of 4 designs). Hurry! This offer ends on February 13th.

January Card Contest Results + Prize Giveaway

 Hi Everyone,

This is a great day to stop by. Today is the result of the January card sketch challenge. This month, the challenge was to use paper scraps in interesting ways instead of standard layers to create a card featuring them. I posted this challenge on my blog midway through the month. A sketch challenge is posted each month. I love to feature other stampers' creativity.

Here are several entries for this sketch challenge

Debra using dies and scraps to create this beautiful card

It's perfect to create a great front using strips of different scraps. This is Nichelle's card

Tina mixed and matched some great DSP and gave this card lots of textures

This is Bea's card with scraps of that wonderful decorate vellum strip and punches

This card is striking with so many great combinations. Bunny created this card

This is Linda's card. Pretty in pink. I love all the embossing and die-cutting on this.

And the Winner is..

Congratulations Debra! Her card was chosen as the winner of the scraps challenge. Debra wins the Snailed it Stamp set found in the January-June 2021 Mini catalog by Stampin' Up!

Thanks everyone for playing. I love all your cards and you help spread creativity and inspiration.

Finding Inspiration Friday with Stampin' Up! Designer Series Papers

 Hi Everyone,

Thanks for stopping in today on this inspiration Friday post. If you follow me, you know I love Stampin' Up! designer series papers. I love to let the DSP shine and make stunning projects with minimal effort. I "cased" a couple of cards and decided to show how you can alter up an inspiration easily by switching out with DSP.

For my first pair of cards, I took a card I already created (the blue and white) and thought about using DSP in the layers instead.

For the new version of my card, I used the wonderful Berry Delightful Sale-A-Bration DSP (part of the Berry Blessings Bundle). This paper is awesome! It takes me back to my childhood when my dad and I would go strawberry picking in Michigan.

The Sweet Strawberry Bundle coordinates perfectly with the Berry Delightful DSP. The Strawberry Builder punch is great because it includes the little flower and leaf as well. I used the Stitched so Sweetly dies for the stitched rectangle. I used Soft Seafoam, but you can use many different colors. Use the colors from the DSP and you have perfect coordination.

Here is another wonderful variation of my card. Vicki Tillett sent this to me after my Wednesday FB Live, and it's so cute! I really like how Vicki used the Berry Delightful DSP even for the stitched layers. She also used many of the stitched rectangles included in the Stitched so Sweetly dies. Thanks for sharing Vicki.

Okay, I absolutely love this next "casing". Deb Babcock created the wonderful Hot Dog birthday card. I love how she textured each piece of cardstock.

I used the True Love Designer Series paper. For this card, I wanted to keep it black and white and then have a pop of color. I used the 2 1/4" circle punch to have flowers from the DSP. I then used Granny Apple Green and Poppy Parade Stampin' Blends for the flowers.

I am always impressed how Stampin' Up! coordinates many products to allow you to create just stunning cards and other projects. I love the matte black elements.

A tip I want to share is that if you haven't, you should get a package of Thick Basic White Cardstock. This will help you when you design with the different designer series papers. Every package of DSP has several colors that were used when creating the paper. If you have several packs of DSP or have the paper share I offered, you may not have many other colors of cardstock, so having Thick Basic White cardstock, you are able to use any of the designer papers you have.

Thanks so much for stopping in for my Friday Inspiration post. I really get excited for all the wonderful DSP. If you love the Berry Delightful DSP, you can earn it free during Sale-A-Bration.

January and February is Sale-A-Bration time. With a $50 order, you can choose one Level 1 Sale-A-Bration item FREE.

If you would like me to send you a mini catalog or the Sale-A-Bration brochure, simply contact me. I'm happy to send one your way.

Are you want to place an order for wonderful new products? I would appreciate if it you choose me as your demonstrator. Use the Hostess Code #DZQKJHFH at check out. With a minimum $50 order, you choose one level 1 Sale-A-Bration item. Move up to a $100 order and choose two Level 1, or one Level 2 Sale-A-Bration item. You will earn "Loyalty Bucks" with me too. It's a Win/Win!

Weekly Wednesday with Fine Art Floral Suite + Gilded Leafing Beauty

 Hi Everyone,

I'm so excited to be able to share with you what I did on my last Weekly Wednesday on Facebook Live. The internet connection was not the greatest, so I decided to put my card on my blog today.

The Fine Art Floral Suite is stunning! I decided to focus on the wonderful Fine Art Floral DSP and the Art Gallery Bundle. The detail in the DSP is amazing!

The Gilded Leafing that partners with the Heat and Stick powder is so much fun to use. I used the Leafing on the layering stamp of the flower. You can see how to use the Heat and Stick powder and Gilded Leafing in my YouTube video.

There are so many ideas and samples using the Fine Art Floral Suite on Pinterest too. It seems this is the #1 products in the January-June 2021 Mini Catalog.

If you watch my video, you will notice that I have a giveaway of the Heat and Stick powder and the Gilded Leafing to one lucky winner. I said the comments would be open through the 15th, but that's too soon, so I have it open through the 22nd. You simply need to subscribe to my YouTube channel, and comment on what you liked best in the video. That's it!

Thanks for joining me today. Let me know what you are working on in stamping. I'd love to connect.

Finding Inspiration Friday. January-June 2021 Mini Sneak Peek

 Hi Everyone,

Thanks for stopping in today. I wanted to share a project I created during my Wednesday Facebook Live session. I was previewing some of the upcoming products in the January-June Mini catalog and Sale-A-Bration Brochure. Just so you know there are wonderful things to help your projects soar.

This card was created using the Sale-A-Bration set called Corner Bouquet. There are 2 corner floral pieces and a couple accent things. This is a level 1 set and free with a $50 purchase beginning in January. I used the new Blending Brushes. OMG! These are amazing! You get 3 Blending Brushes and they add color so smoothly.

I used all 3 brushes and began with Pear Pizazz, then the Daffodil Delight at the top of the flowers. I then used Melon Mambo through the center. I was so impressed at how smooth the brushes add the color.

I hope you have been inspired with my card today. This is a really simple set, but it's so beautiful with the shades of color added. The vellum greeting adds a bit of sophistication and elegance.

If you'd like a chance to win this Corner Bouquet stamp set or the Blending Brushes, these are just a couple items that will be part of my 12 Days of Stampin' Giveaways. Here are the details.

Thanks again for stopping in. I'm so excited for all of the upcoming wonderful products and plan to share lots of wonderful things. Remember I host Facebook Live every Wednesday. I hope you are inspired to join me each week.
