Expressions in Ink Simple yet Stunning Sunday + Prize Patrol

Hi Everyone,
It's another wonderful and blessed Sunday. I wanted to share my love for the new Expressions in Ink Suite of products for my blog today. This suite has such gorgeous colors and WOW! The Expressions in Ink Specialty DSP is just stunning and my card today is as well simply by adding that DSP!

I enhanced the metallic details in the DSP by using the Expression in Ink Ephemera Pack. These elements add such a wow effort to your creations.

Another thing that helps you create simple and stunning cards is the shaded details on the stamps that Stampin' Up! has done for you. It's amazing to me how just stamping once can have such a dimensional affect!

Deborah Babcock created this beautiful card for a swap I recently hosted. I really like the Evening Evergreen leaves. When using the detailed dies, I would highly suggest using the Stampin' Up! Adhesive Sheets. These make it so easy to use those dies. The adhesive will pull out all those little die cut pieces when you pull the adhesive away.

Here's another beautiful card I received recently. I love the change of color. That makes this suite of products even better because you have more variety that you can use.

I hope you enjoyed the cards I've shared today. I would love to hear what you love about the Expressions in Ink Suite of products. Leave a comment letting me know by June 20th and I will be choosing one lucky winner to receive the Expressions in Ink Ephemera pack FREE!

Friday Inspiration Sketch Challenge Winner!

 Hi Everyone,

Thanks for joining me today on my blog post. It's the day I celebrate stampers who entered my monthly sketch challenge. This month was a layout sketch challenge and I have so many wonderful cards. How do you pick a winner? Here is a parade of awesome projects.

Linda used the really cute Kangaroo & Company Stamp set for this super cute card.

Bea's card is so pretty with the DSP focus. The Under my Umbrella Stamp set is great for this card. I like how Bea cut around the greeting for a trending look.

Cindi R. submitted a great card! I love the color combination of it. The really cute ladybugs were from last year's Sale-A-Bration time.

This is a first submission from Cindi H. The Level 2 Sale-A-Bration Touch of Ink set is stunning. So is Cindi's card.

Bunny creates such wonderful cards every month. This has so many great textures. I really like the bold colors.

Holly has submitted her first card for my sketch challenge. I love the color choices she made and the cute daisies would brighten anyone's day.

Joleen's card will make you smile. Those Darling Donkeys from Sale-A-Bration are the best! Joleen's Wood grain DSP is perfect for this card.

Tina is pinched by the Irish already. What a cute card in all it's shamrock glory! The little leprechauns are so cute!

And the Winner is...

Cindi Hutchings is the winner of this month's sketch challenge. Her card is stunning! The choices of color in the cardstock as well as the images work so well together. What did Cindi win? Cindi wins the Fancy Phrases stamp set. When Cindi receives her free stamp set, I hope she will create and share a card with me. I bet it will be awesome.

Thanks so much for all of you who participated. It was so hard to choose a winner! If you think you'd like to participate next time, follow my blog. I usually post on a Friday in the middle of the month with the challenges. Let me know which of the cards may have been your favorite.

There are a couple of days left to earn any Sale-A-Bration products you want. Maybe the Darling Donkeys or Touch of Ink sets. If you would like to place an order through me, I would greatly appreciate your business. If you order a minimum $60 order you can get the Virtual Stamp Camp packet free. Any $25 order also begins my Loyalty Bucks program. Use the hostess code #UYSH7NDE at check out by March 15th for the free stamp camp packet.

January Card Contest Results + Prize Giveaway

 Hi Everyone,

This is a great day to stop by. Today is the result of the January card sketch challenge. This month, the challenge was to use paper scraps in interesting ways instead of standard layers to create a card featuring them. I posted this challenge on my blog midway through the month. A sketch challenge is posted each month. I love to feature other stampers' creativity.

Here are several entries for this sketch challenge

Debra using dies and scraps to create this beautiful card

It's perfect to create a great front using strips of different scraps. This is Nichelle's card

Tina mixed and matched some great DSP and gave this card lots of textures

This is Bea's card with scraps of that wonderful decorate vellum strip and punches

This card is striking with so many great combinations. Bunny created this card

This is Linda's card. Pretty in pink. I love all the embossing and die-cutting on this.

And the Winner is..

Congratulations Debra! Her card was chosen as the winner of the scraps challenge. Debra wins the Snailed it Stamp set found in the January-June 2021 Mini catalog by Stampin' Up!

This was the sketch inspiration for the challenge this month. Let's take a look at some great projects.

Debra's card is wonderful with the nautical theme of blue and white.

This is the perfect card for fall created by Lois. I love the rich colors

Super cute DSP on this fun card by Nichelle!

Bunny's card just makes me smile. I love the large flower detail.

Bea created this fantastic card! I love how she did the "Par" vertically on the card.

Joleen created this wonderful card using the Back on your feet stamp set.

The surprise of the tag coming out makes this card really great. Congratulations Joleen.

Joleen wins the Life is Beautiful Stamp set. This is a wonderful set. I've shared projects in blog posts previously. Be sure to check back for your chance to participate in a sketch challenge and win great prizes.

Finding Inspiration Sketch Challenge + Prize Patrol

Hi Everyone,
Welcome to my sketch challenge day. I thought I would share a layout challenge that you can participate in to win. This is a fun layout that was previously done with the Paper Players. I was thinking that DSP would be a great way to show off your card too.

Here are the details:
  • Design your card using the sketch layout above. Your card should be inspired by the layout.
  • Have your card uploaded, mailed, or delivered to me by October 28th.
  • The winner will be announced on October 30th on this blog.
The winner of this sketch challenge will win the Life is Beautiful Stamp set.

I love offering monthly challenges. It's so fun to see what you all create. It's amazing how different the projects will be even though you are inspired by the same layout.

Thanks for stopping in today. I hope you are inspired to participate in the October sketch challenge. Remember to have your project to me no later than October 28th for your chance to win.
